“They aren’t as high quality as most places you’ve likely been to, but they won’t make you sick,” I said, chuckling.
There was a flurry of movement on the stage and then three curvy, dark haired and dusky skinned girls began to dance to some foreign music played by a boy sitting on the edge of the stage with a mandolin type instrument. The girls weren’t wearing much clothes at all and the dance seemed to focus mostly on undulations of their midsections.
“Well,” I said after a moment, not taking my eyes from the stage. “Seems we got here just in time.”

I watched with wide eyes and a gaping mouth. Finally I snapped my jaw closed and tore my eyes away, colour high on my cheeks. "Is that not... bad with all people watching? It is very," I glanced up at the stage again and gulped, "very not modest."

I pulled my eyes from the dancing girls and looked at Fydor.
“Not modest is the point,” I said, grinning. I reached out and patted him on the arm. “Enjoy it, my friend. They are beautiful and by the smiles on their faces, they are enjoying themselves very much.”

He raised two very good points. If the women here chose to act this way... Well, I guess I was allowed to sit back and watch. So I did, taking in the way their dark skin flowed with the music. The colour reminded me of Isra, and I had to carefully not fantasize her as one of the dancers. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to stand for a long while without embarrassing myself.

My smile grew when I saw him relax and I turned my attention back to the stage. Blessed Elua but they did drive my mind to very particular thoughts.
The song ended and I dug some coins from my pocket, tossing them onto the stage with others thrown by fellow admirers. I whistled and clapped as well.

I joined in with the clapping and tossed up some coin of my own. Such a performance never would have been accepted at home, but by Elua did it boggle the mind. One of the many reasons I wanted to stay in Terre d'Ange. "That was... something," I said to Shea.

“Yes it was,” I agreed, turning back to face him. “I’ve never seen that particular dancing style before.” My smile turned into a mischievous grin. “Though I would certainly like to see some more.”

I laughed at his obviously lecherous thoughts. "I would go to see more too," I agreed.

Our buxom waitress returned and set out our plates of mutton.
“There are lots of lovely things worth seeing here,” I said, to Fydor but smiling at the waitress as I said it.

I chuckled against as Shea continued to flirt with the poor girl. I could see she was loving the attention though. "Thank you beautiful lady," I said with a smile as she served me.

She blushed near crimson and almost dropped her tray. “You’re welcome, my lords. Please let me know if you need anything else.” she curtseyed and hurried off.
“You’re as bad as I am,” I said, winking at him. “How have we gone this long without meeting?”

“Ah,” I said, nodding a little. “We don’t have such a goddess, or god. Is she well respected in Ruskovia?”

I took a bite of mutton as I thought. “Are the gods and goddesses a big part of life in Ruskovia?” I asked, interested in learning from a native

I swallowed the bite I had taken after I spoke last. "It is very... changing from person to person. But I think that many pray often. It is not easy life, we need help from the gods," I said with a smile.
