“So there are positive results to being prudent,” I said, chuckling. My carriage had moved closer, thank the gods. “I think I’m ready to go home and nap. Would you like a ride home or are you staying to shop more?”

“I remember when I nice walk was something to look forward to,” I said with a chuckle, my hand caressing my belly. I leaned in and kissed her cheek. “Thank you today Juliette, it was just wonderful.”

“You too,” I said, giving her a smile and a wave as I turned to the carriage, grateful for the footman who opened the door and helped me up. I settled in with a smile, feeling so full that I knew I would likely nap on the short ride home.

I headed home with a smile on my face, taking the long route. It felt so good to be healthy again, in mind and body.
