"True," I conceded, smiling and then taking another bite.

I was quickly filling up, so once I was halfway finished I pushed the bowl away. "What else do you see yourself doing this morning?" I asked.

"I'm not sure really," I said after another bite. "I have no appointments or real plans set." A smile touched my lips. "I may go home and sleep some more, try and replenish my energy levels."

With a smile of understanding I nodded. "A good plan. I'll most likely wander, perhaps visit some friends."

After taking a last bite, I pushed my bowl away. "I thought you had a busy morning planned," I said, chuckling. "If you have no real plans you could always come back to Bryony, you could catch up on your sleep too."

"Oh, such things do a busy morning make," I replied with a grin. "As well as some small bits of shopping, of course, and visiting the Temple."

Dawn swept in then, and seeing that we were just chatting she cleared the table and left again in a sweep of efficient professionalism.
"I guess I will just have to content myself with dreams of you next to me since I can't tempt you to bed with me this morning," I told Allisande, smiling.

"Oh, but some would say that dreams are far nicer than reality, as they cannot vex or dismay you," I replied with a smile, glad he was still willing to tempt me away.

"I'll take the reality of you over a dream of you any day," I said, with a slight nod of my chin to emphasize my point even though I was still smiling.
I pulled out a small purse of coins and set it on the table. I knew exactly the cost of things at Dawn's and had it all ready.

Smiling in return I brought my hand up to his face and caressed his cheek. "You'll see me in a few days anyway," I replied. "And I look forward to it."

"I look forward to it as well," I said, leaning unabashedly into her touch.

With a small, happy smile I lay a soft kiss on his cheek, then stood and straightened my gown. "Until we meet again, Ryan," I replied with a nod as I gracefully swept from the alcove and then the resturaunt, knowing if I didn't he may be able to tempt me away from the things I had to do.

"Until we meet again, Allisande," I said softly, knowing she was too far away to hear me. I sighed and leaned back in my chair, my cheek still warm from her kiss.
Lost in thought, I didn't hear Dawn return until she cleared her throat.
"Sorry," I said, smiling. "I bet you need the table."
"You are welcome to linger as long as you wish, you know that," Dawn said, returning my smile as she began to clean up. "Allisande… she's lovely."
"Yes, she is," I agreed, not going any further. I stood and kissed Dawn's cheek lightly. "But then so are you. I will see you soon."
Smiling, I left a blushing Dawn to her business as I returned to Bryony.
