I chuckled feeling a slight blush and took a sip then looked at him.
"I assure you that I'm not as respectable as I seem." I looked him over and then to a table with a single man watching slightly.
"Though I'm not sure I could say the same Monsieur."

I turned so that my back was leaning against the bar.
"Keegan," I said, smiling charmingly. "I am far from respectable, I fit in quite well in this crowd. You on the other hand stand out like the first star in the night sky."

I laughed. "You must be an adept." I said raising a brow. "No noble speaks that way." I looked him over trying to guess where from. "At least none that I know." I took another sip and narrowed my eyes at him looking back to the table I believed he came from.

"I don't know, there are some pretty disreputable nobles out there," I told her.
I saw her looking back to the table and Aleron.
"I'd take you back to the table, but then I'd have to share your attention with my friend," I told her. "and I don't even know your name yet."

I smiled blushing fiercely.
"Monique nó Fronsac." I said smiling and taking another sip of ale to steady myself.

"Monique," I said slowly, tasting her name. "Very beautiful."
I edged marginally closer to her.
"What brings you here today?" I asked her.

My smile was so wide I wasn't sure I could not giggle.
"A drink." I said showing my mug of ale. "And perhaps some...'friendly' company." I raised a brow and grinned wryly.
"And you?"

"I ran into my friend over there while he was out buying a present for girl he is sweet on, don't tell him I told you that though, he's all tight lipped and stoic about his emotions. I helped him find the perfect gift, and we came here to celebrate," I told her.
"As for friendly company, it doesn't get any friendlier than me," I said, grinning. "I saw you walk in and had to say hello, you are bewitching at a distance, but absolutely heart stopping up close."

I turned more into him and smiled, I was so close to him it burned, it had been so long since I had been with a man and he was far to charming. "I won't say a thing." I said raising a hand. "Promise." My grin was from ear to ear.
"I can tell you're friendly." I stepped close again. "Perhaps a little too friendly." I turned bcak to the bar looking at him from the corner of my eye.

"There is no such thing as too friendly, only friendly and then inappropriate," I said. I leaned in closer so that I could whisper. "And I don't know you well enough to be inappropriate around you yet."

I felt my hairs rise on my skin and I looked to him. "I am no lady," I said turning again to him. "I may blush but I certainly enjoy it." I raised a brow.
"Are you so marqued that you can offer your services without contract Keegan?" I asked curious at his intentions.

"I am, full and complete," I told her, moving my hand so that I could brush my fingertips along the back of her hand.
"You are lovely when you blush, and being a lady is a state of presences, not title. You, Monique, are a lady."

I bit the inside of my cheek trying not to turn myself to him and kiss him passionately.
"Lucky you." I said knowing my marque was only linmed six inches, I turned to him and made sure my body was close enough to him that I could feel his heat but not close enough to touch.
"But I am not a lady." I smiled widely raising my brow and looking to his soft lips.

"You keep saying that, but I have yet to see anything that proves me wrong in my opinion that you are a lady," I told her, my voice low.
I let my eyes slowly travel up her body until I finally met her gaze again, and I smiled.

I raised a brow and let a hand drop and carefully I cupped his flacid phallus in my hand and squeezed slightly.
"Now?"

I get my expression the same, though I felt my pulse race at her touch.
"You're not the first woman to feel me up in a bar, though most usually buy me a drink first, I guess a lady goes straight to what she wants," I told her, raising an eyebrow and grinning.

I took my hand from his bulge and smiled. "If that's what you call a lady." I said turning back to the bar and taking a sip, my sight staying toward the bar tender.
"Tell me Keegan, what house are you from?"

I shifted slightly, letting my suddenly attentive member find a more comfortable place in my trousers.
"Does it matter?" I asked her.
I glanced back at Aleron, wondering if he'd seen her actions.
"Which House do you think I have escaped from on this lovely winter's day?" I asked her, turning my attention back to Monique.

I looked back to him and then back to the bar. "Well you're not a Jasmine, too pale. And though possible I would say not Valerian or Mandrake." I shrugged. "You're not modest so not Alyssum and though beautiful not Cereus. That leaves Balm, Bryony, Camellia, Dahlia, Gentian, Eglantine, and Orchis. Since you don't have the hazy look or that proud air I can say probably not Gentian or Dahlia." I turned back to him.
"So, which are you? Balm, Bryony, Camellia Eglantine or Orchis?"

"You know your Houses," I said, smiling. "Do sense the company of one who perhaps spent time in the Night Court herself?"
I leaned in again, close enough that my lips almost touched hers.
"Orchis," I told her, smiling and then leaning back.

I grinned. "I was fostered at Gentian till I was sixteen." I said watching him, he was handsome for sure, and his temperment suited Orchis for sure. I should have seen it.
"Tell me Keegan, what is Orchis like?"

"Orchis is the only home I have ever known, so it's hard to compare it to other things," I told her. "Orchis is like the first flowers of spring, always hope, always joy. I never want to live anywhere else."

Unobtrusively watching, I noted Keegan and the woman's interaction- a lot of talk, but still no drink. Evidently he believed in the roundabout and in-depth method, which was good when you were looking for patrons but bad if you were actually trying to prove you could hustle drinks. Really, it was about speed and number of mugs or glasses you could get, but everyone had their own variation on the rules. Well, as long as he was enjoying himself, I would stay where I was, but if he didn'g get the drink, being felt up or not, I would get my money. Just not today.

I laughed.
"Well, if you buy me the drink, we can go ahead back to the table where I have left my friend for longer than I meant. You are just too charming to leave, but I am also too competitive to let him win the first time he and I play 'buy me a drink' game," I told her, grinning.

"Buy me an ale, my lady, and we shall go join the poor lonely boy and you will see soon enough why I don't have to worry about sharing you," I told her.
I leaned over so that my body pressed against hers.
"I get to have you all to myself," I said, my voice low and soft.

I took her arm and, my ale in hand, led her to the table.
"Aleron, this is Monique. Monique, Aleron," I said by way of introductions.
"You two both have escaping the Night Court in common," I told them. "Monique used to be at Gentian."

"Good to meet you, Monique," I said with a respectful incline of my head as I took her in. Pretty as any adept, but a former Gentian- that meant I needed to watch my step. Just because I trusted Riva's abilities didn't mean I'd trust this ones. "I used to be Bryony, but I'm mostly cured now. Please sit down."
