“It varies with each person, but I think you should be alright after the five days.” I stepped back slightly. “You need to lift up now so I can bandage you up.”

I sat upright, slowly, at his request, siting on my knees on the table. My dark hair moved back over my back, and I instinctively moved to pile it on top of my head, holding it out of his way, my arms raised above my head. I winced at the sharp pain, and lowered my arms a bit, hissing through my teeth. THe pain was refreshingly sharp. I took a deep breath to steady myself. Oh this is going to be fun I thought to myself.
"Is this ok?" I asked him, peering over my shoulder as much as I could without straining or stretching my back.

“Perfect,” I replied, beginning to wrap the bandages around her. She made a rather fetching sight in that position, I wondered if she’d ever modeled for a painter.

As I looked at him and he wrapped my body, a shiver went through me at his light caress. I continued to look at him, I suppose I was staring. He looked contemplative, though focussed. What's going on behind those blue eyes of yours I thought. I figured I should ask.
"Is something the matter?" I asked quietly, knitting my eyebrows.

“Not at all,” I said, flashing her a smile as I tied the bandages in place. “I was just thinking you’d make a lovely portrait.” I stepped back. “All done.”

I blushed, lowering my head a fraction, "Well, thank you."
Then, I looked down at my torso and laughed, lightheartedly, "And thank you for this as well." I chuckled again.
I brought the robe up over my shoulders, draping it over my breasts to shroud them, but leaving it open as I turned slowly and sat on the table, testing my limits of movement gently with a few light grimaces. "It's not so bad afterall!" I exclaimed, smiling up at him, my legs crossed at the ankles.
"I suppose it is time to settle the account?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.

“Unless you’d like to get dressed first,” I replied with a smile, think she’d likely not kept here coin with her, there wasn’t really any place to put it in the robe.

I giggled girlishly, giving him a sly smile. "You know, that is not a half bad idea." I wrapped the robe around me, slowly making my way off of the table, then tested a few steps, moving this way and that to help ease my muscles back into use, and sauntered slowly to behind the screen, letting the robe fall from my shoulders to my hands. I hung it over the top of the screen and slowly bent to pull my dress up my legs. Darn it! What possessed me to wear a lace-up dress? I thought to myself. I sighed, frustrated. There was no way I'd be able to do this myself. I took a deep breath, and decided to ask for help.
"Um... Darien?" I ventured timidly, stepping out from behind the screen, my cheeks heated beyond belief. I turned my back to him, holding my dress up in the front with one hand, my hair up with the other, the back of it wide open. "Do you think you might be able to help me with this? I'm not sure what stroke of genius made me wear a lace-up dress," I laughed lightly.

Chuckling, I went to her and began to gently lace up her dress. “You’re not the first adept, nor the last I’m sure, to make such a choice on her first trip,” I said, smiling. I stepped back when I was done.
“How’s that?”

I dropped my hair back over my shoulders, shaking it out a bit. "Well," I said, a hint of laughter in my voice, "It's staying up. Not bad!"
I had my purse of coins tied to my dress. It jangled as I turned to face him and looked up into his face, smiling. "I'm ready now."

I returned to where I’d laid the contract and filled in the space at the bottom for what we’d done today and the price, then initialed next to it before handing her the contract to approve.

I smiled as I took it from him, looking over it, checking the price. Excellent I thought. I had enough for the fee in my purse, as well as a nice little tip.
"Looks good," I said, feeling brash enough at the moment to give him the once over, as opposed to the contract. I handed it back over to him. He was definitely a beautiful man. I untied the purse, moving to stand next to him.
"Thank you," I said looking down at my hands holding the heavy coin purse. Then I looked up into the dazzling blue of his eyes, "for everything."

“You’re welcome,” I said, smiling as I took the offered purse. “I’m honored you chose to trust me with this duty.”

I curtsied to him, bowing my head slightly. "It was my pleasure," I said earnestly, smiling warmly at him. "And I will definitely be back. I can't wait to see what the next inch will look like." I took his face in my hands, standing on my toes, and kissed each cheek gently. "May Elua bless your work." I stepped back from him, making my way slowly to the door.

I leaned in so she could kiss my cheeks, it was a move I was used to have to doing to accommodate such actions.
“May Elua bless and keep you,” I replied as she left. Smiling, I turned to clean up.
