The way Celesta shrugged would have tipped a toddler to the fact that she was a creature of habit - I thought that was rather amusing. "Well, there's only a way to find out," I said, smiling. I asked the clerk, and she took my measurements, and while she did, I said, conversationally, "Have you ever tried other colors, or is red your signature?"

I shrugged again. "I tend to stick to red because its what I know looks good." I said browsing through the gowns.

I smiled gently. No need pushing the issue, though if I did have a chance, I would suggest more tender colors. She looked pure and innocent - and I thought if she played it up, someone like that Shahrizai man would likely pick up her scent, and flock to her like bees to honey.
"I'm sure it does look very lively on you," I said kindly. The clerk was done, and made me promise to come back the following day to pick up the dress.
Celesta was still shuffling, and so I asked, "would you like a hand?"

It hadn’t taken very long. A few looks from the onlookers that indicated humor, rather than respect, and I had decided to try and buy myself some garment that didn’t scream of foreign, and that didn’t scream of Akkadian. It was clear… a lot of D’Angelines mistook me for one, and as much as I despised the Akkadians, they despised me.
I aimed for discretion. My D’Angeline was poor, but sufficient for transactions, and so I walked to the clothier’s district, hoping to at last shed the travel clothes I’d purchased in Marsilikos, for they were worn out and used, and to find D’Angeline Attire fitting of my station.
Mo’Sain and Said stayed at bay, quiet and aloof, ready to protect me if they needed. Both looked rather Aragonian, or rather, they would have, had they not kept their scimitars, as I had.
I entered the shop and looked around, curious. I needed to know what was available.

"I think I might need more then that." I said with a shy chuckle. I heard the bell chime and looked toward it absently but my eye was caught by strangely handsome man that entered. He was obviously not from Terre d'Ange, his skin was darker then most but still lighter then I had ever seen. His clothing was completely foreign to me and I had no idea where it was from. I continued to watch him intrigued.

I laughed at the jest Celesta made, finding she had an uncannily amusing sense of humor, "Don't we all?" I returned, jesting.
My pleasantry was interrupted by a new client, and I assessed him quickly. Tall, shady, foreign, handsome... not displeasing at all to the eye. I wasn't oblivious to the look of interest Celesta gave him, and made myself as discreet as I could, despite the fact that by sheer virtue of size, I was noticeable.

My eyes surveyed the place, and I found a clerk who was too busy to assist me. Annoyed, I puffed a little, and in my impatience, surveyed the place.
D'Angeline garment was different, somewhat more comfortable than others, though I never would let go my own clothes for personal time. This time, though, I intended to visit the Queen (the thought made me still amused) and I needed to look sublime. After all, she was still unwed.
In the ladie's section, a blond girl caught my gaze, and I smiled. She had something innocent and angelic about her that was rather enticing.

I felt embarassed when he smiled at me and I realized that I had been staring at him. I blush profusly and looked back to Geraldine before clasping my hands in front of me and looking at the floor to hide my crimson cheeks.

Celesta caught my gaze a split instant before she took sudden interest in the floor, and her crimson cheeks summoned a repressed giggle. She visibly liked the man, I noted. “Well, well, Celesta, you are quite the man bait, it seems. If you want to talk to him, I’ll try to pick out some choices for you, in the mean time,” I offered in an amused whisper.
The clerk came about, and he stole my attention an instant as he confirmed the price of my alterations, and that the dress would be ready to be tried in an other short instant.
When it was done, I turned back to Celesta, smiling.

Arwa! She blushed, and it was delightful. I moved closer, not talking yet, but maintaining my interest in the clothes that were closer to her.
She had a giant woman with her, not ugly, but terribly tall, and she was visibly of the assertive type, the one that always had an opinion about nothing and everything. It was so annoying, at times...
I kept my gaze on the blond chit, interested as ever in who she was, and wondering if I could have my way with her. It had been a long, long time....

I felt very flustered and looked to Geraldine. "I..I, no I think I'll pick something myself." I said smiling. I gazed back over to the foreign man that looked back at me, he came closer and I felt more of my body flush and wondered if he was coming my way. I felt stuck and couldn't move, not knowing what to do with myself.

I shrugged amicably - I didn't care about it one bit, in fact, I had only tried to be helpful. "As you wish, Celesta."
The clerk beckoned and with a silent nod of goodbye, I left to go to the changing room to try on the gown that had caught my eye.

I nodded to Geraldine and began to move through the racks once more having found my legs again. Finally I came across a lovely gown that would suit me well. It was a fashionable pink colour with a tight waist and an interesting design in the skirt. I smiled delicately and handed the gown to one of the fitters and then looked back to the man to see if he was still looking in my direction.

Arwa, she was looking this way. I stared her down from under my eyes brows, my hands still on the rack, and I sent her a rakish grin. She looked like an antilope whose flesh one could tear. I could see myself ordering her to bend over, and pressing my hardness under her skirt, into that tight little place of heaven. Oh, yes. Now... how to go about this?
I kept to myself, taking pleasure in simply observing her, and thinking of what I would do, had I leave.

I saw a definate hunger in his eyes when I looked back at him, his gaze alone set my skin on fire and I found myself flushing hard against the piercing fire of this stare. I handed the gown to the attendent and he placed it in a changing room.
I wanted to stay and insure that he was actually watching me so I pretended to look through more of the gowns.

I came out of the changing room, and the clerk complimented me. "You look stunning, My Lady L'Envers."
I gave him a look of oddity, and he said, "Well, isn't this for the Sovereign Duc's wedding?"
I nodded, and he said, "And are you not of the wedding party?"
A look of understanding came across my features. Oh gods. I'd almost done it again. An inappropriate dress for the Coronation that had been saved by Mirielle and Rosiel, and now, the wrong color scheme. Oh gods. I shook my head, my shoulders slumping a little, and asked, "Well, what do you suggest?"
The clerk smiled, and said, "With those eyes, why not turquoise?"
I'd spared a look at Celesta, and she seemed to be lingering about, and I assumed it was about that man who was staring at her like she was a tasty dessert. I rolled my eyes - it really wasn't my style.
The clear was looking, and he flashed a gown of satin. I found it was rather regal, with little sparkles here and there, and a beautiful bustier. I nodded, and returned to the changing room. This one, apparently, did not need any work.

The girl's large friend came back, and there was an exchange, something about a wedding. It perked my interest, and I smiled more widely, laughing lightly at the visible embarrassment of the brunette.
She did look somewhat assertive - not the kind of woman I would want to bed, but she rolled her eyes at me. That annoyed me beyond words, and so I returned my attention to the blonde, thankful that her friend had returned in the changing room.
I sent her a rakish grin, and made a beckoning gesture.

He made a gesture for me to come his way and I quietly and demurely traveled his way until I was standing in front of him. Curtsying deeply I looked up at him through low lashes. "My lord." I whispered.

I smiled kindly. She was sublimely polite, this one. I took in her pretty face, and her delicate shape. Quietly, I asked, "What is your name, Habibti?" I had used a term of endearment - I couldn't resist to - she was too delicious.

He used a very foreign word and I judged it to be Akkadian and perhaps Jebean...not that I knew I was quite ignorant when it came to languages. "C..Celesta," I said in a slightly quivering voice, though I smiled softly. "Celesta no Valerian my lord."

"You are very pretty, Celesta," I told her in a tone that was both matter-of-fact and kind. "I am Walid Bin Kasseem, of the realm of Ummaiyyatt," I added, forsaking my title for now - if I told her I was a prince, mayhap she would faint. "What of the House of Valerian, tell me?"

I came out of the changing room, and turned to ask Celesta what she thought of the turquoise, only to find her talking with that foreigner. I rolled my eyes inwardly, and made my way. A little curtsy to acknowledge the man, and I turned to Celesta, asking, "What do you think?"

She interrupted, barely polite, and I gave her a commanding look. "You are very rude, woman. Now be on your way, Celesta and I are having a conversation."

Woman?
He redefined rude, if anything. "I am asking my fellow shopper for advice, My Lord, it will only be a moment, if you don't mind," I replied a little dryly.
I would have Celesta's opinion, and be on my way. This man was scaring me - I didn't want to be around him.

My angered flared at her dismissive attitude and lack of respect. She was rude, impolite, and visibly had no inkling of that which is to be given a man.
"Oh, but I mind," I replied, and before I knew it, my hand flew to her cheek, a hit enough to show her strength, not enough to mark her, though.

My head throbbed, and I took a step out, the clerk after me. "I saw that, should I call the guards?" He asked, gently. "I'm Emile, by the way."
I was sobbing - I'd never been hit in my life.
"Geraldine," I replied between sobs. "Don't, he must be a foreigner. He will learn soon enough," I said, struggling for air against the windowsill. The street was beautiful, and I saw it for the first time through tear-stricken eyes.
"What can I do?" He asked.
I smiled through my tears, and said, "Can you retrieve my belongings from your changing room, and send the bill to Heliotrope?"
"Of course," he said, smiling.
He went back inside, and a coachman stopped by. "Everything alright, pretty thing? I'll drop you off, if you need it." I nodded dumbly, and when Emile came back, I kissed his cheek in gratitude, and headed home.
I was exhausted.

Bewildered, I looked at my hand, thankful that I wore no jewels, but she was gone already.
Sighing at myself, I gave Celesta a look of apology. "I will have to find a way to make this up to your friend. I do not like to be contradicted. Now, what were we saying about Valerian?"

I was scared of this situation and I didn't know what to do, neither gave me much chance to respond and when he turned back my way I didn't know what to say. "It is where I was raised." I said shaking at the foreign man's actions. I was not a view that many so. Those actions were not welcome in our land.

She was shaking her head, visibly in shock, and I felt terribly contrite for it. My voice was soft, quiet, and I said, "My temper got the best of me. I should perhaps find a way to apologize to your friend, if you will help me do so, really... for that matter, I should apologize to you as well," I added, very quietly, yet in a rather sincere way. "Please forgive my action."
