The idea of adding Aragonian touches to our home had really struck a chord with me, so I took some time to wander down to the artisan’s district to see if there were any good Aragonian artists or pieces available.
I left the carriage off on a side street and began to wander, the skirts of my leaf green dress swishing softly in the light breeze of the day.

Things with Liselle had been a bit of a disapointment, my consumption of alcohol made the excersion short and my pride was bitten slightly.
I knew I had to get out and make myself to home and possibly purchase something for my quarters.
I was wandering the Artisan's district when I noticed a familiar face.
"Well well well, look who it is skulking around the City." I teased as I neared my cousin.

A familiar voice drew my attention from the small paintings I was examining.
“I don’t skulk,” I protested with a tease, smiling wide as I saw Denis.

"Of course not, forgive me Highness." I gave Leyna a wry and devilish smile. I had always liked Leyna, though we'd never spent a considerable amount of time together, I always enjoyed her conversations. She was an attractive young lady and for a time I had retained some affections for her when I was 15. Besides, she was only a few years older then I. But it had been at least 2 years since I had seen her and we both had grown so much since then.
"Where's Shyla?" I asked curiously, a teasing grin on my face. "Did she tire of you yet Princess?"

“No, not yet,” I replied, chuckling. “She’s at the townhouse. She broke her leg a little while ago and it’s still too tender to bring her somewhere so busy.”
“What’s brought you here, cousin? Finally run out of less reputable places to haunt?” I teased.

"As a matter of fact I did." I said coming to stand closer to her. "I've been her less then a month and I've already been banned from every tavern and public house in the city." I chuckled at my own jest.
"I hear you're engaged cousin, congratulations."

“Thank you,” I said, smiling. “You should come have dinner sometime and meet Nic, I think you would like him.”
“Besides, it sounds as if you will soon be out of places to get a decent meal unless you want to stay cooped up in the palace.”

I chuckled. "I may have to visit then." I said still smiling. "When's the wedding, you're going to invite me right?"

“We haven’t set the official day yet, but it won’t be long,” I said, smiling. I linked arms with Denis and began us strolling down the street. “And yes, I guess now that I’ve seen you I’ll have to invite you.”
I chuckled and grinned at him. “Truthfully, you were on the guest list anyway. The ceremony’s going to be at home, so you can see Mother and Father while you’re there.”

Fabulous. In truth I didn't have a problem with Leyna's parents. I simply had a problem with everyone's parents.
"I look forward to it, perhaps I'll bring a companion." I walked juantily with Leyna holding her arm tight to my body.

“Anyone in particular?” I asked, curious as to his relationship prospects, but not pushing. “Or is that too far in the future for you to know who might have caught your eye by then?”

I inhaled soberly. "Too soon, most definately." I said exhaling and turning to give her a smile. "But there are two girls I'm looking at in particular."
Coretta and Noelle came up quickest in my mind. I wondered if Coretta would be invited to Leyna's wedding, most likely. Then would it be more advantageous to come alone. But she's been seen courting that...that Prince. Perhaps Noelle would be interested in joining me then.

Oh Elua, but my curiosity was peaked.
“Anyone you’d like to tell me about?” I asked, smiling.
I leaned in, my voice dropping slightly for his ears only. “Or do you prefer not to kiss and tell?” I asked playfully.

I felt a little warm in the cheeks and chuckled looking down at my feet for a moment. "One I met at the Hunt fete," I said looking back at Leyna, a bit of a giddy smile on my face. "The other I've had my eye on for some time but its complicated." I shrugged slightly my look with a small amount of pleading. If anyone could give me advice it would be Leyna.

“Too complicated to discuss here in an open market, perhaps?” I asked. “Maybe when we’re done shopping you could come home with me and we could talk about it there?” it was an offer to help him in any way he needed while still allowing him some privacy for his pride. I hoped he’d accept.

I thought for a moment looking forward as we walked. Would Leyna be descret enough? More then possible, I'd always seen her as a trustworthy person.
"Fair enough," I said nodding and looking back to my cousin. "After."

“Excellent,” I said happily, smiling wide and squeezing his arm. Some things were more easily discussed without an audience of strange ears to pick up bits and pieces.
“Now, tell me what really brought you out here today.”

I smiled letting the former go and thinking on her question. Shrugging absently I sighed. "My quarters at the palace lack my personal touch." I said looking at a window we passed. "The last place I lived was the same...all properly positioned chaise' and murals." I looked back at Leyna and chuckled. "No colour, no flare. Not dare enough suitable for a young lordling like myself."

I laughed deeply. “And so very modest too,” I commented, still chuckling.
I bumped against him playfully as I turned slightly to look at the displays surrounding us. “Was there any particular thing or style you were looking for?”

I chuckled moving slightly after she bumped into me.
"Not really," I answered looking into the window we were turned to. "Just something that expresses me."

“Well, I am looking for Aragonian items, do you think those might be of interest to you?” I asked as we kept walking.

"Aragonian items, for me?" I asked curiously. "Or for you? For your husband to be to feel more at home?" I teased and wiggled my brows suggestively. "Tell me about this mystery prince of yours."

“I was looking for Aragonian items for me and Nic, and yes to make the house feel more comfortable for him,” I said with a laugh. “Nic is funny, handsome, smart, sweet, and all around wonderful.”
I stopped us in front of a woman selling beautiful woven wall hangings.

“It only sounds boring because you’re jealous,” I replied, grinning.
“I know it sounds silly, but Nic is everything I ever dreamed of in the man I would fall in love with, and the fact that he loves me in return still amazes me,” I said. I nodded a thanks to the woman and began walking again, her wares were lovely, but not quite what I wanted.

I chuckled. "I'm not jealous, I'm just a realist." I teased giving her a wry smile. "Tell me more about him, more then just your feelings. Is he tall, dark haired? Does he have any sisters?" I gave a wink.

“He’s just a bit taller than I am, and yes, he’s dark haired and yes he has a sister but she is far too young for you,” I said with a grin. “He does have a cousin who’s in the City though, she’s much more in your age range.”
