The sun was setting outside my window as I awoke. After Allisande had left, I’d realized how drained I had been. I remember stretching out on the bed and then nothing but a dreamless sleep. I stood from the bed, changing into an outfit much more suitable for sparring. Loose black cotton pants and matching shirt, unrestricting clothes that would allow for easy movement. I wore leather boots, though I would remove them once I arrived at Dahlia. I slipped on fingerless leather gloves to decrease my chances of loosing my grip, grabbed my payment for the assignation and patron gift, and headed out the door. My horse was waiting outside, and soon I was on my way to Dahlia.
