"What about you Leyna?" I smiled noticing the blush.
"Are you going alone?" I looked at her and then to Joshua.

"I think I am." I looked from Hugo to Sabrina to Fraser.
"And what about you cousin?" I asked with a wry smile.

"I think I'll go alone as well." I smiled into my mug as I took a drink avoiding both stares from Fraser and Hugo.

I was feeling very warm, and the feeling was radiating from the spot where Joshua was touching me. The warmth became heat and then suddenly the heat became oppressive.
I looked out the window, noticing the darkness. "I need some air. It is very warm in here suddenly." I stood up and when Joshua started to stand also, I laid my hand on his shoulder.
"I think it might be better if you stay, I need to cool down," I whispered to him with a smile. He returned my smile and sat back down.
I wove my way out to the bench I had sat on earlier and took the same spot. I leaned back against the building and breathed deeply of the cool air.

Seeing Leyna rise and exit the building I decided to follow, Darcy of course one step behind me. I found her sitting on a bench and sat down beside her.
"You two seem to have hit is off." I said with a giggle in my voice.

I smiled in response to her giggle.
"Quite. I like him." I leaned in close and whispered for her ears only, "He's a rather nice kisser."
With a laugh I sat back up trying, I'm sure unsuccessfully, to look innocent.

I laughed, my mouth open in a surprised shock.
"You devil you." I said nudging her with my finger. "Is he marriage material?" I said with a wry smile and a raised brow.

"I'm sure he is. Whether he is right for me will take more time to figure out. I do like him though. He's sweet and smart. We can talk or not talk and still not feel uncomfortable. It's nice." I sighed contentedly.
I wound my arm through hers and leaned over enough to put my head on her shoulder. "I was so unsure of how I was going to handle things after I got here, but this has been a spectacular day. Thank you, Sabrina."

I smiled as Leyna wrapped her arm in mine, it reminded me of home and Coretta, my sister.
"You're welcome Leyna, I've had a spectacular day as well." I sighed as I sat there on the bench.

"So where do we go from here?"
I looked up at Sabrina mischievously. "Do we load all three of them in the carriage and take them home for the night?" I teased.

I laughed out loud.
"I don't think that Darcy would appreciate that." I smiled and started to stand.
"Perhaps we should head home, unless you wish to go else where?"

I stood up also.
"We probably should head home after we say goodnight," I said somewhat reluctantly.

I smiled then covered my mouth, trying to stifle a yawn.
"Of course we'll say good night." I said smiling.

I laughed as I saw Sabrina was beginning to feel as tired as I was.
I hooked my arm through hers and moved us back inside. We made our way to the table where I let go of her and moved to stand beside Joshua.
"It is time for us to go," I told him. I smiled as I realized Shylah had her head in Joshua's lap and he was scratching her ears. "I can see I'm not the only one who has enjoyed the night."
Joshua smiled, "You were certainly not the only one. I had a wonderful time as well."
I glanced over to see that Hugo and Fraser were distracted by Sabrina, and I leaned in and kissed Joshua lightly. I straightened and turned to say farewell to the others with a smile.

Leyna and I walked back inside and I went to Fraser and Hugo, she went to Joshua.
"I'm afraid we must be off gentlemen." I smiled to Fraser and Hugo who both stood.
"How come, aren't we interesting enough for you?" Hugo smiled and elbowed Fraser, I laughed in response.
"You two are very interesting but I'm afraid I'm quite tired," I looked in Darcy's direction, he stood sullen and in his Cassiline's stance.
"I'm also afraid that if I don't get going my Cassiline will throw me over his shoulder and carry me out." Hugo glanced behind me and then elbowed Fraser again.
"I'm sure we can take him." Hugo said with a smile.
"Thats quite gallant but not necessary." I smiled and Hugo stepped forward taking my hand and kissing it.
"Well then, it has been a most wonderful evening. Till the coronation." He released my hand and stepped back with a bow. Fraser simply bowed but with a wide grin that was more telling then I think he realized.
"Till then." I agreed and nodded my head turning to look at Leyna.

"Hugo, Fraser it's been a delight. I look forward to seeing you at the coronation," I told them as we said our goodbyes.
After all the goodbyes were said I turned to head for the door, well pleased with my first foray into adult life.

I smiled to Joshua and nodded in response to his bow.
"It was good to meet you Joshua, we'll see you at the coronation." I made a wry smile and looked to Leyna.
With Darcy in toe we made our way back to the carriage, Darcy of course skirted ahead and opened the carriage door helping both Leyna and I in.
"So," I said smiling once we were both in. "Have a good night?"

I sighed dramatically and leaned back in the seat.
"Let see, I had way too much ale, danced till I couldn't breath, and kissed a man I had only just met. I think that counts as a good night," I told her with a laugh.
Tilting my head I gave Sabrina an appraising look. "And you? How would you rate your night?" I asked her mischievously.

I giggled and turned to Leyna.
"I would say it was sucessful." I felt my cheeks blush and I glanced to Darcy to see if he was paying attention.
"There is definately potential for better nights ahead." I smiled looking back at Leyna.

"Quite true, cousin. Why you never know what we might discover once we put our minds to it," I replied, a smirk dancing on my lips.
I had seen Sabrina glance towards Darcy. I was thankful that my freedom wasn't as hampered as Sabrina's was. I made a personal vow to do everything in my power to make sure Sabrina was enjoying herself as much as I was, scowling chaperon or no.
The carriage slowed, and with a peek out the window I realized we were back at the palace already. As soon as we stopped, Darcy leapt out and held out his hand to help me down.
I stepped out, Shylah right behind me. As soon as Sabrina was also down from the carriage I threw my arms around her and embraced her tightly. "Thank you again. I will never forget tonight as long as I live," I told her.

I embraced Leyna back.
"You're truly welcome cousin, we should do it again some time." I smiled as I pulled back.
"Of course, we'll have the night of the coronation celebration to get into trouble." I whispered so that Darcy couldn't hear me.

"I can not wait," I said, trying to suppress an evil laugh.
I saw my carriage waiting nearby, the driver looking at me questioningly. I nodded to him then turned back to Sabrina.
"I should head home, as much as I don't want tonight to be over." I kissed her cheek, "I will see you soon. Good night cousin."
I nodded to Darcy and went to my carriage. Shylah leapt in ahead of me and I followed close, settling into the seat beside her. The carriage began to sway, taking me home

I smiled to Leyna and watched her move toward the carriage. I rubbed my arms against the cool night air and turned heading to my room. I knew my head would hurt in the morning so it was off to bed for me.
