I nodded to Kevin's bow and watched him leave, turning my attentions back to the others.
"Thats understandable," I said remembering Theodor. "I was recently in the same position."
"What position was that?" Hugo said with a wry smile.
"Of having a broken heart." I said with a smirk, he seemed to be implying something else.

I took another drink of ale and as I was setting my cup down I was suddenly caught by a yawn. I quickly covered it with my hand, and looked around apologetically.
"Please forgive me, I guess it has been a longer day than I realized," I said with a chuckle. "I just arrived in the City this morning and this day has been filled with much more excitement than I could have imagined."
I leaned back in my chair, feeling tired but a good, happy tired.

I turned my head to Leyna and spoke quietly.
"Is this what you had in mind?" I rasied a brow and glanced at the three remaining men.

I tilted forward so that I could whisper to Sabrina. "I think this is a good start, don't you?" I said with a chuckle. "Which one of those two has your attention? It's impossible to tell from here."

I smiled and looked back to Fraser and Hugo who were talking amongst themselves and with Joshua.
"I'm not sure." I said with a beaming smile. "I kinda want them both." A small nervous giggle slipped past my lips and I looked at Leyna strait in the eye.
"What about him?" I nodded my head slightly in Joshua's direction. "Any plans?" I had to choke back a laugh.

"I like him, a lot in fact. I would really like to see him again," I said with a smile.
I tilted my chin to indicate Hugo and Fraser. "So, are you planning on sneaking both of them into your room at the same time or on alternate days?" I teased. I chuckled and felt myself blushing slightly. This whole night was so unlike me and so new I was having a little trouble believing it was real.

I laughed quietly and smiled. "Do you think they play well together?" I asked thinking about having them both in my bed, I felt a flush and the area between my legs grew warm.

"They seem friendly enough with each other. I'm sure you could always pull rank and sort out any squabbles," I replied with a smirk.
From the corner of my eye I saw Joshua watching me with a smile on his face. I blushed deeply this time, wondering if he could tell what we were discussing.

"True, I would hate for them to get distracted," I said with a chuckle before turning back to the group.
"Hugo, were there any other sites you were planning on touring while you were in the City?" I asked, trying to get an idea of their plans.

I looked back to Hugo in a serious fashion, the ale getting the better of me.
"Yes, where else are you planning on going?" I smiled resting my chin on my fist.
"Well," He cocked a brow and smiled looking to his companions. "We did have plans for the Night Court." He looked back to me.
"But I think I'm willing to set this one out. The Night Court will be here the next time I'm in town. Lovely company like yourselves won't." He raised a brow in a seductive maner.

I chuckled softly, Hugo really was smooth. I looked at Joshua.
"I understand if you have prior plans, I don't mean to keep you," I said with a smile. Inwardly I was really hoping he would stay, but I had no right to keep him from something else.
Joshua blushed slightly, "Not at all, I would much rather stay here." He smiled, and moved his hand to where his fingers jus touched mine on the table. Nothing more, just a touching but it made me flush and I felt warmth run through my body.
I smiled, suddenly unsure what to do next. I looked to Fraser, wondering if he felt Sabrina's attraction to him and was also going to stay.

I smiled to Hugo and then to Fraser.
"I suppose if no one else is going to the Night Court then I shouldn't either." He sat back in his chair and folded his arms, I wasn't sure if he disliked the idea of leaving with out visiting the Night Court. Or perhaps he was just stubborn in that way, what ever it was I laughed.

I tried to hide a smile at Fraser's reaction, thinking that if he knew Sabrina had been talking about taking him back to her bed that he wouldn't seem so put out.
I was just about to say something when music started up from another room. My eyes lit up and I looked around the group.
"Is there dancing?" I asked excitedly. I didn't wait for an answer, forgetting all manners and decorum I jumped up, grabbed Joshua's hand, and dragged him towards the sound of the music. "Come dance with me!"
We rounded the corner and saw that there was in fact dancing. There was a trio in the corner playing a lively tune and already a few couples on the floor dancing. Joshua pulled me against him and we began dancing along with the others. I loved to dance and Joshua, while maybe not the most skilled partner I have ever had, was good and we were soon laughing and moving as if we danced together often.

I laughed as Leyna jumped from her seat and took Joshua onto the dance floor, I smiled to Hugo and Fraser and took a sip feeling decidedly awkward and hoping some one would ask me to dance. Before either of them did, a young Tsingano girl approached Hugo and asked to dance, he bowed to me and followed the young girl to the floor. I was kind of glad as I wanted to talk a little more with Fraser, I had been able to speak with him much.
"Would you like to dance?" He spuddered out very un ceremoniously.
"I'd love to." I stood and he took my hand leading me to the floor.
He seemed nervous but was polite and seemed to be a very good dancer. There was a lovely Tsingsano jig that they played and I laughed as Leyna and Joshua danced, Fraser even seemed to lighten up and he too began to laugh and smile.

I saw Sabrina and Fraser join the dancing, but Joshua was spinning me around way too fast for me to get out more than a smile. His enthusiasm had risen to meet mine and we were weaving our way through the other dancers.
The jig ended and thankfully, for I was short of breath after that, the next tune was slower. Joshua held be close without crushing me, and looked down at me with a smile.
"You are a wonderful dancer," he said. "Do you get to dance often?"
"Thank you. I dance as often as I get the chance, which isn't as often as I would like. There's always a season with lots of little gatherings where there's dancing, but I would dance every night if I could, " I answered.
He moved us around the increasingly crowded dance floor.
"I know there are some people who don't like to dance, but I have always just loved the feel of giving yourself over to the music," I blushed slightly and looked away, knowing I sounded silly.
We were off to one side of the dance floor, out of the flow of movement and Joshua stopped dancing. I looked back up at him and he was smiling so sweetly I felt my stomach do a little flip. Slowly, as if to give me time to resist if I wanted to, he leaned in and gently pressed his lips to mine. His lips were soft and warm, they felt amazing pressed up against mine. This was so much better than the brief experience with kissing I had before. I returned his kiss, and felt a warm tingling run through my body.
Too soon for me he pulled back and with that same sweet smile began moving us around the dance floor again.

I watched Leyna move to the outside of the floor with Joshua and laughed.
"You're friend is quite the charmer." I said to Fraser as we circled the floor.
"Yes," He said smiling and a small blush painted his cheeks. "Hes the strong but silent type."
"What about you?" I smiled as he spun me. "What type are you?" He blushed again.
"I'm the clumsy bafoon type." He said glancing away to hide himself.
"I like the clumsy bafoon type." I smiled, before he could say anything else Hugo stopped us.
"May I have this dance?" Hugo interjected.
"Of course." Fraser smiled politely and handed me over to him.
"I hope I'm not interupting something." Hugo said pressing himself to me, he was such a far better dancer then Fraser.
"No," I smiled. "We were just discussing your friend Joshua, he seems to have taken quite a liking to Leyna." He glanced over to them.
"And why not, Leyna as beautiful." He smiled. "But not as beautiful as you."

The music transitioned into a more upbeat tune and we began to weave through the other dancers again. We moved fast, spinning and twirling until I was dizzy and laughing so that I couldn't breath. With a last twirl, Joshua spun me out of the room and we stumbled back to our table.
We collapsed in our chairs, drained and happy. There was a fresh jug of ale on the table and Joshua filled my cup. I took a long drink and sighed happily.
"Thank you Joshua, that was wonderful," I told him.
He smiled, "My pleasure."

I smiled and knew that I was blushing but didn't care.
"You're quite the charmer as well." I said, I looked back to see Leyna was returning to the table and wondered if I should give her some more time.
"I try." Hugo smiled and spun me around in his arms.
"You'll have to forgive me," He said smiling wryly. "I'm not behaving properly for someone of House Courcel." Hugo stepped back and took my hand kissing it.
"Perhaps we should return." I looked over to see Fraser dancing with an older Tsingano woman and laughed.
"Perhaps." I smiled and Hugo led me back to the table. He pulled out a seat for me and as I sat Fraser appeared sitting next to me. With Hugo on one side and Fraser on the other I blushed again.

I looked up as I saw the rest of the group returning. I laughed as Sabrina ended up between Hugo and Fraser.
"That was delightful," I said, smiling at everyone.
"I am so glad Sabrina mentioned this tavern," I raised my cup in toast to Sabrina. "Thank you for making my first night in the City so perfect."

I drained my cup and set it back on the table before leaning back contentedly in my chair.
I was not completely surprised when I felt Joshua's hand on my knee. He was almost tentative, as if prepared for me to push him away. I laid my hand on top of his, holding it against my knee.
I glanced at him from the corner of my eye and smiled. I tried to pay attention to the rest of the group, but all I could focus on was his hand.

I took a sip of my own mug and placed it on the table, my chin still resting in the palm of my left hand.
"I think I've drankin more of my share." I said noticing that the words slurred as I spoke them.
"Nonsense," Hugo reached over and empty the rest of the jug into my cup. "Tonight we celebrate our new found company!" Hugo raised he mug and tapped his rim to mine.
"Drink up." Hugo took a swig from his mug and placed it back on the table, I too took a sip, but only a small one and as put it back on the table I noticed the night sky. Had we spent all day drinking? I shook my head and glanced to Leyna, but her mind seemed to still be on Joshua.

I was having trouble thinking of anything but Joshua's hand on my knee. It wasn't doing anything but resting there, yet all my attention was on it. I was glad he wasn't being more aggressive and trying to move his hand up my leg, but I also was very glad he wasn't taking it away.
I felt someone looking at me and focused enough to catch Sabrina's eyes. I smiled, and I was sure I blushed.
I laughed, trying to cover the feeling of getting caught. "You were right about the ale, cousin. It is delicious. I think it has gone to my head," I told her.

Laughing I looked at the group of us and then back to Leyna.
"But what fun we wouldn't have if it didn't." I took another sip of my mug and smiled to both Fraser and Hugo.

Laughing, I nodded agreement.
"True, but then again I don't think it was just the ale that went to my head," I said, glancing at Joshua then back at Sabrina.

"Do you gentlemen have companions for the coronation?" I smiled looking at the three of them.

I looked at Joshua, wondering if he had changed his mind about attending the Coronation.
"I really had been planning on staying home with Kevin, but now I think I may attend the coronation after all," he said with a smile in my direction. "I think I may just go alone though, see what happens once I get there."
I relaxed the pressure of my hand on his and began to lightly caress the back of his hand.
"I like that idea. I am certainly finding the joy of just letting things happen as they may," I said, looking him in the eyes for a second before looking to Hugo and Fraser.

"I think I may do the same." Hugo said leaning in to look at me with his piercing blue eyes. I smiled and looked to Fraser, he nodded silently and looked to Hugo.
"It may be a good idea to do that." Fraser smiled to Hugo and then to me with a wider grin.

My attention had once again directed itself to my knee. Joshua had begun tracing small circles on the inside of my knee with his middle finger. There were layers of cloth between his flesh and mine, but it felt as if it had all disappeared. I was losing myself in the moment and feeling.
I realized the conversation had stopped, I had no idea if it was for a second or a moments, but I looked up and around the table. "What? I'm sorry, was someone talking to me?" I knew I was blushing deeply, and I could see Joshua's grin widen.
