I strolled through the door, looking left and then right, taking in the scene before me.
There he was, cuddling up with Tillonius and a few women who's names I hadn't bothered to learn. One of them sat there playing some soft melody on a small harp. I didn't really care much for it.
Other shadows moved across the walls, though I didn't see anyone, lending a creepiness that not even the streets of Night's doorstep at twilight could manage.
I walked up to Zephyr, who seemed rather content at the moment. His clothes were finely made and indicated that he had some money to his name. Only a few of us knew where he got that money from.
I waited until his eyes met mine before speaking. "It's been a while, Zephyr. I'd thought you'd gone to war from the lack of business coming my way. Or is it that you've just got... other things on your mind?" I eyed the whores surrounding him and crossed my arms.

I had been informed that one of my many associates had arrived and was now making her way through my domain even as the message was delivered. Normally I would have gone to greet her, but I was quite comfortable among the women of my house, head pillowed against Tillonius's chest.
"Good eve, Avaarah," I purred, caressing each syllable with my tongue, turning my head to regard her. "War is such an ugly business, my dear. I have more immediate matters to attend to." I tilted my head to give Tillonius a brief kiss. "So you have any news from since the last time we met?"
