Name: Tabitha d’Armel
Age: 24
Race: d’Angeline (Sivolese / Namarese)
Gender: Female
Height: 5’8”
Home Province: Siovale
Natal: Second week of spring
Appearance:Tabitha has been blessed with all that is good about her d’Angeline heritage. Her skin is like fresh cream with a soft, permanent blush. Her spun gold hair falls in soft curls down her back, perfectly offsetting her blue-grey eyes. Her full lips have been sighed over by more than a few.
Personality: Tabitha’s beauty hides a quick and clever mind, something she is more than happy to keep to herself until she decides whether the person she is speaking with is worthy of her intelligence. She has a love of mathematics that borders on the fanatical. She has had enough time in social circles to be able to pass pleasantly, but part of her mind is always on the next problem to be solved. She takes her bits of fame in stride, paying them no real attention.
History: Tabitha’s father, Marquise Thomas d’Armel, is an architect of rather high acclaim. Thomas’s father, and father before him, held the same positions all with great success. It has been whispered that Thomas’s forefather actually designed the palace in the City of Elua. On business in Namarre, Thomas met Lilith, the daughter of Lord Montipurre and fell hopelessly in love with her. Lilith returned his affection to a point, but she was a free spirit who had no interest in settling down. They carried on an affair for two years before Lilith decided she needed to see the world beyond Terre d’Ange. Thomas was heartbroken at the thought of her leaving, and begged her to stay and start a family with him. She promised him a family, but refused to stay. She lit her candle and nine months later gave birth to Tabitha. Once the child was proved healthy, she was given to a wet nurse and Lilith left Terre d’Ange, never to be seen again.
Thomas kept Tabitha with him from the moment she could leave the house. She grew up surround by numbers and plans, drinking them in with the acceptance any child has of its surroundings. By the time she started school, she was far past all the other students and Thomas was forced to hire private tutors for her. She grew into a girl far more interested in schooling that society, and it pained her father. He encouraged her into society, and she did it for him, though she would have always rather been learning. At sixteen she began submitting her own plans for proposed architecture contracts, and was soon winning as many as her father. She was visited every province for work and although many are reluctant to hire a woman for such a job, her reputation is growing to the point her prowess cannot be denied.
She has come to the City in hopes of finding her next contract and perhaps experiencing more of the society her father has sought for her.
