It's so strange for us to be this many leagues apart, isn't it? I worry about you, but the City is the safest place, of course. I hope that you don't feel left behind by Cygnus and I, but well, neither of us had much choice in the matter. Luckily I will be out of the actual fighting, and I will do what I can to keep Cygnus out of trouble.
Please take care of yourself, and Christien. I know he has her with him, but I trust you more to have his best interests at heart.
I love you and I will be home as soon as I can!

Victoire,
I agree, it is strange for us to be so far away, but I know what both you and Cygnus are doing is for the best and to help our country. It doesn't help much with missing you two but sometimes it helps a little and that is the most I can ask for. The house is quieter without you but I'm doing my best to stay busy. Please take care of yourself and make sure our brother does the same thing sometimes, if not always. I know how stubborn the two of you can be but please come back home in one piece.
Christien seems to be doing better and I do visit him from time to time to make sure that's always the case because I know you would want to know.
Please don't worry about things here. Everything will be alright so long as you come home safe. I love you, sister, and I pray for things to go well so you can come home.
