Dearest Lady Eulalie de Perigeux,
I hope that this letter finds you free from punishment and reasonably well. It was a pleasure escorting you home last week. You are cordially invited to have lunch with your hero, Marquis Renard de Valliers. I look forward to knowing when you are available. It would be responsible for you to inform your supervisor before hand. I would prefer to not have a repeat of last week's incident.
Sincerely,
Marquis Renard de Vaillers House of Valliers Son of Constantin de Valliers

The letter I received from Renard made me smile, and without delay, I penned back a reply.
My Dear Lord de Valliers,
Thank you for your letter. I am well and hope you are too, though the atmosphere remains a little frosty. When all is said and done however, it's a lot warmer than it could have been. I gladly accept your invitation, and would love to meet with you at your earliest convenience. I will of course, inform my guardian, though whether or not he is happy with our meeting I shall come anyway.
With anticipation,
Eulalie (I think we can forego the formalities)
