Gender: Male
Height: 6'0"

Jean-Baptiste has the quintessentially D'angeline look about him: fine features, no facial hair, high cheekbones, etc. He is tall for his age, thin but muscular with hair that ranges from light to dark brown, depending on the season and the light and eyes the color of caramel.
Personality:
Jean-Baptiste is quiet, though he is friendly when approached. Studious and shy by nature, coming to the City has helped him to come out of his shell somewhat. He is very loyal, very smart, and compassionate almost to a fault.
History:
Jean-Baptiste was born a cousin of the more well known Valois-Burgundy family, and as such it was thought that he might go into the military, as was common among the family. Jean-Baptiste was not the military type, however, and his father recognized that his young son had an aptitude for medicine. He brought the boy to study at the Temple of Eisheth and for a time Jean-Baptiste planned to join the Priesthood. However, at some point, he realized that that life wasn't for him and instead he begged his father's leave to come to the City to study medicine among the famed physicians there. His father relented, and at sixteen he journeyed to the City and began his studies under the Royal Physician, a favor begged from his father's old friends at court. Now seventeen, Jean-Baptiste has learned much, and continues to serve as an apprentice and to learn all he may to become a superior physician.
