Character Played By Mila Kunis
Name: Raisa Valois
Age: 16
Race (Lineage Origin): D'Angeline/Yeshuite
Gender: Female
Height: 5' 2"
Home Province/Country: City of Elua, L'Agnace
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Raisa is of a light olive complexion; has long, black, curly hair and equally dark eyes that sometimes lighten to a deep maroon. All features from her father's side of the family. From her mother she has inherited the well defined features that distinguish the D'Angelines. She is a little on the skinny side and short in stature, which often leads to people mistaking her age.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Despite being a quiet and seemingly demure girl, Raisa's passions simmer beneath her nonchalant exterior. She keeps her rebellious opinions to herself to avoid causing trouble for those around her, but secretly wishes she could act upon them. She likes to channel these frustrations into art and music.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Raisa was born to a Yeshuite physician and his convert bride. Her mother had been the daughter of a well respected D'Angeline lord, who disinherited her after she converted to and married a Yeshuite. Nevertheless, the marriage was a happy one, though it lasted only a few years before Raisa's father died. Never having been fully accepted into D'Angeline or Yeshuite society, her mother decided it was best to move from the Yeshuite quarter to Mont Nuit, where she plied her trade as a seamstress. She raised her daughter in the Yeshuite faith.
In her early teens, Raisa's mother also passed from sickness, leaving her an orphan. After her mother's death, she adopted her mother's maiden name and continued taking sewing commissions, sometimes doing impromptu vocal performances and selling sketches to earn extra coin.
