Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Nasir stands tall at over six feet, his body sculpted and chiseled in all the right places. His hair is a rich shade of dark brown that falls in loose waves when not slicked back. He keeps it fairly short, but long enough so that it sometimes falls in his eyes when wet. His eyes are a deep brown, soft but narrow shaped. His nose is long and straight, adding to his well-defined form. He possesses a light beard, obviously kept trimmed. The man is considered near perfection in his homeland and still quite handsome even in Terre D’Ange itself. He has a broad chest that speaks of strength and a smile that speaks or mirth.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Nasir is both a product and an antithesis of his culture. He has one desire in life, and that is to have fun and for people to be happy. The young man lives for mirth and always has. This isn’t to say he’s completely carefree. His thirst for peace causes him to be protective, to avoid a fight at almost all costs, and part of that is to train for strength by engaging in all sorts of hobbies. He loves riding, swimming, wrestling, and playing practical jokes, though the latter has no real value other than feeding his need for fun.
Nasir is a lover, not a fighter. The palace harem has given him enough experience to know that. He longs for something deeper though. Longing in fact is something that drives him that makes him more than just a shallow fun person. He knows there is something out there more than what he knows, a place he was made for. He is looking for a dream and will not rest to it is found, and mayhap then a new one will take its place. He maintains, for the most part the values of his people but knows deep down they are not his own.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Growing up in a palace, surrounded by almost anything your heart desires seems like a fairy-tale existence for most. But when it happens to you, especially in Umaiyyat, it’s not quite the fantasy people think. Nasir was just one of the sultan’s many sons from one of his many wives. True, some say he and she had a special bond, but it didn’t change the fact he was a random middle child. Nasir played with his brothers as a child, knowing what it was like to have fun early. He’d always be the ringleader of the trips into the garden, or trying to sneak glimpses of the harem. When he was eight his sister Nawar was born and suddenly he had something to nurture and protect. The two children lived in a state of carefree happiness, perhaps then the fantasy, until Nasir was fifteen and experienced the death of his mother. Other than Nawar his mother was the only constant female presence in his life. And the men around him changed. They wanted less to do with him, his half brothers, especially the one who would soon be sultan.
To the outside world, and to many people he encountered within the palace Nasir was referred to as the “pretty prince” and girls dreamed of being in his harem. Nasir, the prankster, the lover of fun, charmed many a soul and broke many a heart. Deep down though he was looking for real love. He thought he found it once, when I girl with flaxen hair and a free spirit showed up one day. He found out she was from a far off land. It was inhabited with pure beauties who loved pleasure and fun. That was where he belonged, he decided. He shared the idea with Nawar who was now twelve and they decided if there were ever a reason or way they would go there. Unfortunately being the favorite of many people can cause a reason you don’t like. Recently rumors have come up that the brother and sister want to overthrow their half-brother sultan. Untrue as they may be they are powerful. Might this be the reason to travel to that far away land?
