Character Played By (the person in your avatar): Rachel McAdams
Name: Amelie de Trevalion
Title: Princess of the Blood
Age: 20
Race (Lineage Origin): D'angeline
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Home Province/Country: Azzalle/Terre d'Ange
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Amelie has dark chestnut hair, wavy to curly depending on the weather, and hazel eyes, most usually green but prone to shifting tones of gold and brown, even blue or gray at times. Petite and fine-boned, she lookes rather younger than her 20 years.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Amelie is somewhat reserved to the casual observer, a combination of her training as a Princess and of her childhood. To those she knows well, they know her to be trustworthy, passionate about her interests, loyal and somewhat tempermental. She keeps that under wraps in public, but one can usually tell by the color of her eyes what her true emotions are. Being a middle child, Amelie constantly feels overlooked and is always striving to prove herself. She does, however, love to laugh and the surest way to get past her reserve is to amuse her.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Amelie is the third child in her family, with her elder brother Ghislain having left while she was still young, and her elder sister Sophie taking care of the family. Cadice and Rochelle are her younger siblings, and Cadice the one she has always been closest to. Rochelle had been a part of their little trio, for a time, until her early teen years when something happened to change her. Amelie never knew what it was precisely, but Rochelle became such a radically different - and distasteful - person, that she had been rather relieved when her younger sister left for the City of Elua. Growing up, they had everything they could ask for, but Amelie always felt as if something was missing. Not something material, but something within herself. She felt as if she was defined in some ways by her elder siblings, by Ghislain's absence and Sophie going away to Marsilikos, and by Cadice's hopeful optimism and Rochelle's debauchery.
Once Rochelle was murdered, Amelie decided to come to the City and try to figure out who she really was, realizing that life could be shorter than imagined, and that one never knew where one might end up. If nothing else, she hopes to reconnect with her brother and sister and the rest of the royal family to which she belongs.
