General appearance: The best word to describe Ani is "adorable". With delicate features and a bubbly, charming personality, those who know her can't help but love her. Ani walks with more bounce than grace, though occasionally her bounce turns to clumsiness, especially if she is nervous. She prefers to dress in light hues, such as lavender or grass. Her hair, when down, falls in loose ringlets over her shoulders and back, and turns blonde in the summertime. Like her brother, she has pale lavender eyes which hold no guile. Though she is not too tall, she does have a long, slender neck.
Personality:
Anemone is young and slightly naive; she sees the world through rose coloured glasses. Though she is 19, she is often mistaken for being younger then she is partly due to her looks and partly due to her bubbly nature. She's an utter romantic and seems to fall in love at the drop of a hat. Ani, as she perfers to be called, is a bit of a humanitarian and loves animals; when she was growing up she often rescued stray animals which often got her in trouble because she would attempt to hide them in her room. She's also not very intelligent and that combined with her naive nature has gotten her into trouble more then once.
History:
The story of the Cytherean branch of the L'Envers family begins with Louvel L'Envers' father; it was because of him that Louvel L’Envers managed to snag one of the lesser royal family members of Cythera. Jacques L’Envers was an ambitious man even from a young age and when he was only 18 years old he had his own business in trade. At twenty he decided to set out on his own and began to travel to build his business. In his thirties he met and married a woman in he met in Kriti (a women of D’Angeline origin) and had his first child. It was when Louvel was only five that they moved to Cythera when Jacques learned of the money to be made in an under developed trade federation in search of investors with capital. He set himself up with those of rising status as a profitable and wise business man and before long he was more then wealthy. Louvel was likely just as ambitious as his father and always sought to please Jacques in anyway he could. So when he was only sixteen he joined the Cytherian Royal army and spent four years there proving his worth. By doing so he caught the eye of Chara Anatolia, the Kings favourite niece. In time, and due to Louvel’s good standing, the King granted them a marriage and Jacques traded in his business acumen for the acumen of politics.
Louvel and Chara married fairly young and by the time the pair was 24 and 21 respectively they already had two children; first their son Titus and their daughter Olympia no less then a year later. These two were followed a few years later by Ani and Zephyr. Growing up all the siblings, save for Titus because he had left to go traveling when she was only 13, were very close and all share similar dispositions though Ani is more bubbly then the rest. The children were raised with a mix of life styles; they were raised like members of the royal family and spent much time with their royal kin learning etiquette, history, languages and even diplomacy. On the other hand Chara was a home spun girl who wished to be more hands on then some of her more spoiled siblings and cousins, and prided herself on teaching the children to be grateful and appreciative of the things they possessed.
Ani herself excelled in the home arts, learning weaving, spinning, beadwork, and embroidery easily. But she had no head for facts and figures, and her instructors were often frustrated at her blockheadedness. She spent her days in the shadow of her older, more brilliant sister and it took its toll on her self esteem. When she was sixteen, she begged her father to permit her to stop attending lessons, which he begrudgingly permitted. Since then, she has spent her time in the learning of crafts and the saving of animals, and her confidence in herself grew back. Her artwork hangs all about the palace, and she even has sold some of it for pocket money.
Of all her siblings, Ani is closest to her brother Zephyr, though she has no idea of the secret he carries, not because she would not accept it, but because she simply cannot keep a secret. The two barely spend any time apart and have a deeply caring relationship. It is Zephyr who is Ani's confidante, though privately she wishes he would confide more in her as well.
Ani is thrilled that she is moving to Terre D'Ange to be with Titus. A virgin, she is eager to explore D'Angeline love and courting, away from the watchful eyes of her parents.
