Character Played By (the person in your avatar): Unknown
Name: Ignace nó Mandrake
Title: Dowayne of Mandrake House
Age: 46
Race (Lineage Origin): D'angeline
Gender: Male
Height: 6'3"
Home Province/Country: L'Agnace
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Everything about Ignace is dark: his skin tone is warmer than most D'angelines, his hair is as black as night, even his eyes seem like pools of ink. He rarely smiles, and when he does, you would likely wish that he hadn't. Tall and muscular, Ignace is the very specimen of an Adept, fit and darkly beautiful.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Ignace is a man who brooks no stupidity, no ignorance, and who has had his hands full with his House. Though at times it might seem as if he has lost control, in truth Ignace believes that there are more ways to skin a cat, and he will sometimes let one hang themselves before he intervenes. Although Mandrakes can be difficult, they generally respect Ignace, because he respects them. The same holds true for Valerians, though some might hold them in contempt, Ignace holds them in esteem for what they bear in the name of pleasure and tries to instill that in the rest of his House. He has a strong sense of responsibility, and while he seems very serious, he actually has a surprising sense of humor and streak of kindness.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs):Ignace was born to a Jasmine mother and a noble father, an agreement between the former Dowayne of Jasmine and his father struck: the child would live at the Night Court for half of the year and at his father's estate in Kusheth the other half, until he was 10 and his training would commence in earnest. Those first year's of Ignace's life were uneventful, but once his training began, his instructor's noted immediately that Ignace had a dark bent in his nature, and he was shipped off to Mandrake House. Angry at first, he lashed out at those around him, but eventually he settled into a routine. Once he began to channel his energy toward his studies, he proved a capable adept, with a steady hand and a sense of artistry that impressed the Dowayne. When the ink on the finishing touches of his marque were barely dry, he was raised to Second. When the elder Dowayne retired, Ignace took his place and has been extremely successful in managing a House that has sometimes been known for its difficult adepts.
