Name: Johanna Reyksol
Title: n/a
Age: 17
Race (Lineage Origin): Skaldic
Gender: Female
Height: 5'7"
Home Province/Country: Skaldia
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Like most Skaldics, Johanna is fair-skinned, with pale blond hair. Her eyes are the same green as her elder brother, Eirik's. She is tall and willowy, very fine-boned. Johanna is not afraid of hard work, but because she seems so fragile, often others will pitch in and do things for her. Consequently, she has not the somewhat weathered appearance of other Skaldic women. Also, because her features are somewhat ethereal, she is often given a wide berth by the other women and even by many of the men, not the least of which being because she is Eirik's sister.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Johanna seems very frail and quiet to most, but that appearance is deceptive. She learned long ago to capitalize on her looks, and to appear meek and unassuming. Far from it, Johanna is fiercely independent, smart as a whip, and far more cunning than anyone has ever given her credit for. She loves her family dearly, and is extremely loyal to her brother most of all. Curious to a fault, she has been known to find trouble on occasion, though never to a point where it has been particularly noticeable to anyone but Eirik, the only person who truly knows her.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Johanna was a late in life child for the mother she shares with Eirik. Her father is unknown, as their mother was widowed at the time of her birth, but it has been speculated that perhaps the man was D'Angeline, given Johanna's fine features and fragile look. The truth remains unknown, however, and Johanna is not one to care overmuch about things of that sort. She grew up in her brother's household, where their mother lived, and as such, the two were extremely close. Eirik had not thought to care for a child so much, but he always felt as if Johanna needed protecting. By the time he realized that she was as tough as any of them, protecting her was simply a habit. The two are close confidantes and though none of Eirik's allies know it, Johanna is privately a part of any war council, her insights having proven invaluable over the years. She longs to fight beside her brother on the battlefield, but has thus far been kept clear at Eirik's insistence. As the tensions between Skaldia and Terre d'Ange escalate, however, she hopes that one day she can have a place beside her brother on the front lines.
