By the time Josette and I arrived in Night's Doorstep, we'd finished half the bottle of raspberry cordial that I'd purloined from the wine cellar in my basement. Giggling, we tumbled out of the hired carriage in a whirlwind of women, wine and satin. "Ready?" I asked.

“Oh yes, more than,” I answered with a giggle.
When Judith had asked if I wanted to go out and stir up some trouble, I had fair leapt at the chance. She was good fun to be around and the thought we might find others to join in only made it the better.

I looped my arm about her waist and together we entered the busy tavern. I had the bottle of cordial in hand and took a long draught.
"Hey, you can't drink that in here!" yelled a rough man behind the bar.

“Don’t worry,” I told him as we made our way to the bar. “We’re not finished drinking by any means. Two glasses of wine, and keep them full.” I placed a decent amount of coins in his hand and then turned to Judith. “Where shall we sit?”

"I like it right here," I said, "this way we can easily see everyone, and everyone can see us." I tugged at the front of my dress to expose more decolletage. "What do you think? Too much?"

“Not at all,” I said, grinning and letting my eyes move over the newly exposed skin. “I rather like it.”

"I knew you would," I said gleefully, before turning to survey the bar. "So this is Le Poulet Gauche. Do you see anyone you know?"

I looked around. “No, no one I know,” I said, shaking my head a little. “You?”

"No," I said, "we'll have to be creative and make a new friend."

“See anyone promising?’ I asked, looking around again.

It was a night like any other and when I entered the bar it promised to be just as fun as usual. I'd decided to dress in breeches of darkly tanned leather with a shirt of deep red silk and as I walked I let myself gaze about interestedly. There was the usual compliment of whores and vagabonds, some thieves- oh, and even better, a pair of girls giggling at the bar and looking around as though they were daring trouble to come along. Of course they could have been their own kind of trouble, but who was I to be scared of two pretty, spry little things, and I gave them a wink and a crooked grin as I walked next to them and leaned over the bar to order a mug of whatever was on tap at the moment. It's not as though I had a discerning palate. "Why, hello there ladies," I said in a pleasant tone, cocking my head slightly to take them in. "Aren't you just the lovely pair?"

I giggled, bringing a hand to my heart, which beat rapidly under my exposed decolletage. "Did you hear that, Josie? We are a lovely pair!" I smiled prettily at the man. "I'm Judith, and this is Josette. Who might you be, handsome?"

They were indeed a lovely pair, as well as possessing a lovely pair could easily draw the eyes, though I managed to smile just a bit more widely and keep my eyes mostly on their faces. Besides, they may well have been drunk enough that they either wouldn't notice my wandering gaze or would take it as a compliment. "Greetings to you, Judith, and you, Josette," I replied in a warm, appreciative tone as I leaned against the bar. "I'm Emeric and I thank you for the compliment. What are you ladies drinking? I'll be glad to buy you another if you're so inclined."

My skin warmed with a flush of desire as he leaned closer. He smelled wonderful, like man and sexual interest, it was intoxicating.
“We’ve already paid for our wine,” I told him with a wry smile. “I’m afraid you’ll have to find another way to entice us, Emeric.” I shifted so he had a better view down the front of my gown.

The other girl, Josette, was just as lovely as the first and more sensual about her interest and I let my eyes range across her breasts in appreciation for the way she graciously gave me a peek. "For you ladies I'm sure I can manage something," I replied with a sensuous smirk, bringing a hand up to run through my short hair before I took the mug that the barkeep set down in front of me, then took a long drink from it. "You'll just have to let me get over my surprise at meeting such pretty girls in a place like this."

"It's your lucky night to find us, then," I said. "I've never been here before, so I expect tonight to be extra exciting."

“And of course if we don’t find it exciting enough here, then we could always go elsewhere and make our own excitement,” I said, smiling at them both.

"Oh Josie, you do know how to stir things up," I said, patting her thigh playfully.

With the way these two interacted there were several more questions that could be raised, but since none of them really had a bad answer I wasn't concerned with it. If they were lovers so much the better anyway, and it would be so much fun to get them both into bed and if I couldn't accomplish that, who could? "Hey now, I didn't say I wasn't planning to entertain you, only that I wanted to think of a worthy method," I replied in a playful tone as I leaned back against the bar between the two of them and bringing one hand to stroke along Josette's face and resting the other on Judith's cheek. "How daring are you two exactly?"

Between her pat on my thigh, and his caress on my cheek, I was quickly losing interest in more public pursuits.
“I’m rather up for anything,” I replied, leaning into his caress.

"Me too," I added. "What do you think is a worthy method of entertainment for us, Monsieur Ehhhmeric?" I drew out the first syllable of his name like it was a taffy candy.
