Name: Lillianne du Verais
Title: n/a
Age: 18
Race (Lineage Origin): d'Angeline
Gender: Female
Height: 5'8"
Home Province/Country: Kusheth
Appearance: Sunny haired and fair skinned, Lilliannes looks reflect her personality. High cheekbones common among the d'Angeline nation grace her face, and she's prone to smiling, a playful or mischievous glint usually shining in her eyes. Fairly tall for a woman at 5'8", Lilli stands only an inch shorter than her twin brother, Maric.
Personality: Always quick with a smile and a laugh, Lilli could be mistaken as only sweet and gentle by those who don't truly know her. A mischievous streak runs through her, though, and coupled with the blood of Kushiel in her veins, she is daring and fearless, moving through life with self confidence and joy, taking things as they come and not fretting over them. She understands well her duties to her family, though she has no plans in settling down and expanding the families wealth and fortune anytime soon; if anything, Lilli wants to experience life as much as she can, to know and love, laugh and merrymake. She loves creating art in all forms; pottery, painting, sketching.. She tried writing as well, and though she has little talent with words, the practice of it gives her great inspiration and muse for her other talents.
History: From an early age Lilliannes personality shone through, starting as a toddler with chasing games of rudimentary tag involving her parents and nanny, and her twin brother Maric. As she grew, her white-blond locks darkened somewhat, but never lost their sunny quality; a striking contrast to her twin brother Maric whose chestnut hair she has always secretly envied. Where Maric was solid in form and studious in personality, Lillianne is lithe and playful; too big a contrast some might think given twins, but mayhap it was the differences that lent Lilli and Maric the abilities to love each other for who they were. They were always there for the other, and in the moments that the house was still with the reverberations of some sort of anger or frustration, Lilli always knew her brother would be there to comfort her, and she him.
When they were ten, another girl of their age came to live with them, their fathers old friends. Lilli was excited from the first moment she'd learned of it, and upon meeting Sophine, she wasn't disappointed. The two became fast friends, playing with dolls for the first few years, and moving gradually into makeups and nicer dresses, playacting how they thought proper women should behave. Over the years the playacting faded away as both Lilli and Sophine blossomed, and Lilli noticed a distinct change in Maric as well. For a long while she didn't understand it, thought mayhap he was bitter for her spending time with Sophine and not all with him as it'd been as children… but over the time it became clearer, made crystal when Sophine left for the City of Elua and Maric was left pacing, angry. He left for the City with their fathers blessing while Lillianne was made to stay at home, something that hurt her more than words could have said. Alone for the first time in her life, Lillianne spent her days with her tutors and her nights curled upon a windowseat overlooking the front lawn of the manor, holding her knees to her chest. It took her three months to finally come back to herself again, to sleep fully at night, but once she did it was like a switch had been flipped; her sunny personality was too much to be dimmed overlong. By the time Maric visited again, Lilli was green with envy, but warm with love for her brother, cornering him almost immediately to tell her everything he'd seen and experienced, how Sophine was. When Maric left again she was able to keep on with life in a way she hadn't been able to the first time, though she began begging her parents to let her go. At eighteen and with her parents blessing at last, Lillianne is making her way to the City, the excitement she shone with as a child coming back to play again now.
