Character Played By (the person in your avatar): Troian Bellasario
Name: Michaela nó Eglantine
Title: Eglantine Adept
Age: 16
Race (Lineage Origin): 1/2 Serenissiman, 1/2 D'Angeline
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Home Province/Country: Terre d'Ange
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Slight and lithe but strong and sturdy, with mouth-watering curves. Michaela has the look of a Serenissiman through and through, with golden-hued skin and rich, lustrous mahogany hair. Her eyes are a deep chocolate which always have a sparkle to them and her straight, white teeth shine brightly against her skin when she smiles, which is often.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Michaela is full of good-natured sarcasm and will give as good as she gets. She's cheerful and fun, but also very kind and compassionate, with a large soft spot in her heart for animals. She loves playing jokes and teasing but would never truly hurt someone's feelings. She has a weakness for sweets and will filch them from the kitchens whenever she's able. She's got a big silly streak and is apt to burst into loud, random song with her high, clear voice. She tries to act like she's tough but really she's rather sensitive and, although she'll never let on, her feelings can get hurt quite easily.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Michaela's mother, a Serenissiman, contracted Michaela's father, a D'Angeline Eglantine Adept, for an assignation. When she found out she was pregnant with Michaela, she convinced him to run away with her so that they could be together. After Michaela was born, he had a crisis of conscience and convinced Michaela's mother to give her to Eglantine House as penance for his desertion.
As Michaela grew up, she had an amused tolerance for her parents' misdeeds and loved them anyway. She was always very happy at Eglantine and is mostly trained in the arts of tumbling and gymnastics, having become almost a contortionist. She also sings quite well and can play a passable lute to accompany herself. When Michaela was 12, she learned that her parents had died of a sickness of the lungs and that she was their only child. Their loss hurt her deeply. When she received the last of their personal belongings, she found necklaces that both of her parents used to wear every day and so she transferred both of the pendants onto a bracelet that she never removes unless absolutely necessary.
