Character Name: Liana nó Valerian (French; meaning - bind like a vine)

Appearance: Tall and curvy, with large brown eyes and straight hair, hanging down to the bottom of her spine. She is extremely pretty, as D'angelines are, though when amongst those of her race she does not overly stand out.
Personality: Her personality is mercurial, she can go from playful to obedient in an instant and vice versa. She is almost always cheerful and very little changes that. She does have a temper, though it's held on a tight leash. If her temper snaps then things are liable to be thrown, so she is careful not to let it go and will endeavour to walk away until she calms down, which doesn't take long.
History: Liana's life changed at the age of 9. She had an uneventful childhood up until then, being a much loved and well behaved only child of merchant parents. But during her ninth year some thieves broke into her parents house and, to keep her from interfering or identifying them, Liana was bound, gagged and blindfolded whilst the perpetrators ransacked the house.
Liana wasn't discovered for many hours later and it soon became evident, as her shocked and bewildered parents tended to their child, that she had enjoyed the experience, despite her fright. After a long heated discussion, of which Liana was only vaguely aware of so enamoured was she of the experience she'd been put through, her parents thought it may be best to get her entered into the Service of Naamah.
They waited until their daughter's tenth birthday and then gained an audience with the Dowayne of the Valerian house. They presented Liana and to their relief she was accepted and they left her there to become an Adept. Liana soon found her niche and thrived, she found she loved being the submissive and even enjoyed pain..though she drew the line at the extremes of being whipped or cut. She now has a quarter of her Marque completed.
