History: A strange tale of life her story actually began many many years before she was born. Her great great grand mother, an Dalriadian/Alban Mystic, woke in the middle of the night, a dream that changed her world. Receiving a message from the Goddess Epon, Maighedra ventured on the next ship from Alba to Terre d'Ange, a mission in mind.
When she reached the new world she began her quest, one of spiritual importance and one of new beginnings. Moving from strange place to strange place, bartering food and shelter for work, she taught herself D'Angeline and started to make a home for herself. Through her time she learnt much spending time with Tsingani, Priests of Elua and Naamah, she taught herself the ways of the world and after some time she met a young man. Falling deeply in love with the man she soon found herself unexpectedly pregnant she knew she had to keep moving. she left with their unborn child and began to travel closer to L'Agnace and the City of Elua, her final destination.
Her daughter, Lulu, was born unexpectedly in a Temple of Naamah. Maighedra new it was a sign, she believed the Goddess Epon and the Goddess Naamah to be the same patron Goddess simply with another name. It was there that she pledged her loyalty and that of her daughter. Raising her daughter to be a priestess they lived together for many many years, Lulu remaining chaste and pure. But her mother new that she had to continue their line. She sent her daughter, now 17, out to the countryside to foster with a family of some title and wealth. Lulu was only there six months before she had fallen in love with the youngest son of the scenscal and three months after that she was suddenly pregnant.
Lulu was called home and nine months later she gave birth a little girl. Lulu was very happy with her daughter Viola, she too would raise her daughter to be a Priestess of Naamah as her mother had raised her. But Lulu wasn't happy without her beloved. Lulu had fallen in love with Viola's father she moved to the estate leaving Viola with her grand mother. Unfortunately many years later Viola's father died unexpectedly, and Lulu died some years later, some said as a broken heart.
Viola was raised by Maighedra, she taught her about the mystic life she had lived in Alba, she told her about the dream and the abilities she had never told her own daughter. Viola knew it was truth, she felt it, she knew she had been given the same abilities her mother spoke of. When Maighedra died Viola was still young but she decided to keep her grand mother's spiritual quest and dream in mind and left the temple. Eventually she reached the City of Elua, a small amount of monies her parents had left her when they had died. She rented a small studio were she practice her prognosticating skills with a set of cards her grand mother left her.
It was a tough life for her and she struggled finding herself stuck in a world she didn't understand, stuck not understanding all the things her grand mother had left her with.
She wrote home to her father's parents telling them that she wasn't finding much work. They replied by finding her a family friend that needed a maid in their house. Spending a few years there she one day worked her her way to nurse maid and nanny. Finding herself strangely happy with the world of children around her, she soon found herself wanting a child for her own.
At twenty seven she met a young nobleman and after a brief but passionate courtship together Viola was pregnant. But before she could inform the father he had been sent away and she never saw him again.
Raising her daughter Magdalene in the house she worked at Viola felt content, but she wanted to give her child more and she knew where to send her. Magdalene had that Alban mystic about her and after a visit to Gentian she was sent to foster there.
Magdalene grew strong and fast at Gentian, the prize of her house. Her ability to predict the future gave her the nick name 'The Oracle' by her fellow mates. It was in her 23rd year that Magdalene met a patron and fell in love the Marquis Severin de Lorean. In her eyes it was the most perfect match, but loved her in a different way, the way he loved his greatest friend. But before Magdalene could choose her knew path she was pregnant with Seraphin.
Her marque finished the man of some title took her as his consort though he was already wed and had two sons by his wife. Magdalene was kept away on the estate raising her daughter in the beauty of the country side. It was in Seraphin's four year that there was talk of having Seraphin wed Severin's eldest son Sebastien (whom was eight years her elder). Magdalene was wary and made the condition that Seraphin would go to Gentian till her marque was made or until she was twenty and four years old.
Seraphin lived at Gentian till she and Sebastien became close. After much talk Seraphin married her half brother and her marque was paid for freeing herself from Gentian.
She was happy in her life, marrying quickly to the man she suddenly realized her loved and prepared for a happy life.
That was until the plague entered the city and took most of her family.
Sebastien, her other half brother Savage, her father and her father's wife all perished leaving her at a loss.
What was she to do now? She had spent her whole life as an adept and she gave it all up to be a wife, only to become a widow.
She had to return to what she knew.
Putting all the money she could afford she's purchased a small building in the Artisan's district of the city to open her own salon.
