Post by Claes de las Aragonia (I) on Oct 14, 2008 20:37:06 GMT -5
Name: Prince Claes de las Aragonia
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Height: 6'
Race: Aragonian
Appearance and Personality: Topped by a small matte of blackish-brown hair, Claes bears an average face, sporting only a small scruff of beard on his face. He is about 6 feet tall, with brown eyes and a lean build from his guard duty and constant exercise. He is not particularly handsome over any other man, and he has no real distinguishing features. However, Claes bears an amazing capacity to read a person's expression, lending him the nickname 'Mind-reader Claes' by his friends at the Palace.
Claes likes to drink and mingle with people, and is more the sort to toil in the fields himself than berate the overseer for a lack of progress. He is hard-working and kind, though he detests laziness and sloth. He likes things to be orderly, and he does not hesitate to help those he believes he can help. He was raised and trained to be a humble man, and he never betrays that ingrained modesty.
History: Claes was born into a happy, noble family in Aragonia. He was raised by his father mostly, leading him to become a guard at the royal Palace at Aragon. It was there where he first discovered that he was related, though not an heir, to the Royal Family. His relation is that of a half-cousin to the current Princes: His father was the nephew of the late Aragonian King.
Claes led an uneventful life in his captaincy of the guards in the Palace. It was mostly due to his competence of descrying trouble before it happened that he was able to prevent any large commotions. He eventually grew old, and was replaced with a more fit young man. When he retired, he was granted a small fief near Terre D'Ange, with a small farm community and little village. He sets out soon to the City of Elua, as the local governor he appointed in his fief is an extremely competent man, who had been instructed to deliver the town's excess tax money to Claes every month.
