Name: Joras Timbule
Age: 23
Race: Caerdicci
Gender: Male
Appearance:
A well structured body, from his strong shoulders to his noble bearing, makes him seem like more of a man than a boy. Joras has deep hazel eyes, which can be disturbing to those unaccustomed to him. He has dark black hair, wavy and long and silky to the touch. He stands at 6'3" and is a very imposing figure. When he speaks, people listen, even if his word may not carry the world.
History:
Joras was the only son of a well-earning merchant, until one fateful night. He was halfway through his 13th year when it happened. By the edge of his town there lay a forest, supposedly enchanted by evil spirits. Joras had gone there to play for every day of his life when he was not busy... but he always went alone. He matured into a dark, brooding teen, with a few odd traits that put distance between him and everyone else. That day, some of the older boys were teasing him, and he could not bear it anymore. Joras drew his dagger on the boy and almost killed him, being dragged off by the boys friends and beaten with a club until he was bleeding and bruised all over. When he woke, he ran to his father's house and stole the sword that hung on the wall, bringing it with him to his tormentor's villa. He killed the boy, mercilessly beating him until he died. Joras, looking in horror at what he had done, ran until his feet could carry him no more, and traveled all the way into Terre D'Ange where he heard that the mercy of the gods was great. He has worked hard to redeem himself and his efforts have paid off, making him one of the most successful fabric merchants in the City.
Personality:
He has a strict moral code to defend those he loves, but to never strike back with more force than necessary. Joras is a very caring person, and when he can he helps out at the temples. His recent success has made him a very generous person, and he carries a pouch of coins just for handing out to beggars. He is often seen as sad and detached, and this is true. He has never fully recovered from his experience, though his time in Terre D'Ange has made him a much more outgoing person than before.
