Name: Jareth d’Aiglemort
Age: 35
Race: D’Angeline
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jareth d’Aiglemort can best be described as ruggedly handsome. Being pure D’Angeline he is of course easy on the eyes. But he is not a pretty boy by any stretch of the imagination. At 5’11 and stocky build with brown hair and light brown eyes Jareth does not stand out in a crowd of his people. Small crow’s feet mar the corners of his eyes and the occasional gray hair can be seen on his head. But over all Jareth has aged well not unlike fine wine.
It is hard being born a near cousin of one of the most well known villains/heroes in history. This is what happened with the birth of Jareth d’Aiglemort some thirty five years ago. Jareth was born the first cousin of the infamous Isidore d'Aiglemort who stopped the Skaldian invasion but only after falling from grace while trying to usurp power. And much like his cousin Jareth was a Lord of Camlach who did not think with his sword.
A bright and well educated lad Jareth even studied at Tiberium for a while before returning home. Though like most all Lords of Camlach Jareth learned and mastered the blade and military theory. Never being anything flashy the young man grew to middle aged man and continued his quiet service in the boarder lands. Jareth has never been hungry for power or glory and indeed he tends to think the road to ruin lies in that direction. The simple term of steady could best describe his whole life.
That changed a bit recently though with the death of his father Tibault approximately six months ago. Now Jareth finds himself with the title of Duc and has been forced to enter the more main stream of society. Indeed in recent months he has resolved to travel to the City of Elua and gain some perspective on the political machinations. This is not out of a sense of ambition but more a matter of him feeling it is the prudent thing to do. Jareth’s general attitude being if he is going to be a Duc then he will be a good one.
The new Duc d’Aiglemort is a quiet and stoic man who has never had much for real friends more like a series of acquaintances. Though never dour most would not call him easily approachable and many call him simply intimidating. But those who have come to know him well find him to be dependable and solid and not the least bit refreshing as he has spent a lifetime avoiding the sort of scandals that seem to plague many nobles of the realm.
