Navarre nó Mandrake
Age: 19
Race: Akkadian / D’Angeline
Height: 6’
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Navarre’s dark brown hair and crystal blue eyes accentuate the striking features of his mixed parentage. His d'Angeline heritage brings a flawless beauty to his Akkadian features and accents the vividly dramatic flair of his mixed parentage. A strong jaw line and evenly set features over refined cheekbones. Deep set eyes and long lashes under dark expressive eyebrows, sensuous lips that hide a malicious grin waiting to tug at each corner. Overall he is startlingly attractive and intensely handsome and most would say that the very sight of him is intoxicating and chilling.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): As a child Navarre's personality distinguished him quite effectively in any group with his dark and brooding nature, and the attitude of indifference he displayed towards most of the people he lived around. Becoming an adept of Mandrake house taught him control and gave him a purpose and a reason to excel in the things he was good at. The depths of his personality have improved over the years and he is now quite the charmer when he wants to be, and can certainly entertain most anyone with his wit.
Navarre grew to enjoy his solitude and his personal space, which extends to his personal wish not entertain physical contact with anyone in a normal setting. This however is a trait he doesn't display with a patron, as he sees this as an entirely different thing while practicing his art versus engaging in normal human contact. He still displays his brooding nature but less of it is stemmed from anger these days and his talents of conversation and etiquette are another thing he has decided to improve upon.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Born second of a mother who died shortly after he came into the world, Navarre and his brother Soren were left behind at a wayside monastery after she passed away. At a young age it was obvious that Soren was the kind and gentle one and Navarre the manipulative pariah. The initiates of the monastery doted on Soren and almost completely excluded Navarre. Soon bitterness grew till Navarre truly wished to destroy his brother. It was he who should have been born first, he felt, and since he mastered almost everything before his brother could he felt justified in believing that he was the one more worthy of being first born.
Navarre loathed his older brother and detested the thought that Soren, who was so soft and inexperienced, was able to claim seniority among them and Navarre ridiculed him constantly for it. The two of them were nothing alike except that they were a perfect likeness one to the other. Navarre was the one who drilled himself in each and every one of his studies while Soren would often be found talking with one of the monks or working in the gardens.
The initiates couldn’t understand Navarre’s hatred towards his older brother and tried to teach him otherwise. This resulted in utter disaster; Navarre was later found torturing his brother mercilessly and the initiates were barely able to rescue the boy in time. Thus Navarre was handed over to Mandrake house. Thankfully there were ways to deal with his anger and get him to control his temper. And surprisingly Navarre made a model pupil of himself with his brother out of the picture. He took to his new studies with enthusiastic zeal and soon found himself begging to become an adept.
Now he eagerly looks forward to each new assignation and welcomes them with unrestrained pleasure.
