Character Played By: Bradley Cooper
Name: Eirick Reyksol
Title: Clan Leader
Age: 36
Race (Lineage Origin): Skaldic
Gender: Male
Height: 6'3"
Home Province/Country: Skaldia
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Eirik, like many of his countrymen, has piercing, ice-blue eyes, and light brown to blond hair, depending on the light. He is tall, well-built, and considered a bit too fair for his own good. He has a mischievous smile that is contagious, and a scar that mars his right cheek. He also bears many other scars, but those cannot be seen by the casual observer.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Eirik grew up in a large family as the youngest, and as such he led an easy life in his younger years. While his older brothers went off to many battles and glory, he was still clinging to his mother's skirts. Eventually, however, his time came, but at first he did not distinguish himself overmuch, because while others were fighting, he was like to be wenching, or drinking, or throwing dice. Because of this, he has a raucous sense of humor, somewhat lax morals, and a fondness for whores. Eirik is loyal, but not to a fault, at heart he is pragmatic. Like most of his people, he has a sentimental streak, but he rarely ever shows it, and for that he has been considered cold hearted. That is far from the truth, however, but Eirik is the epitome of the phrase 'still waters run deep.'
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Years of drinking and gambling while his brothers and father warred with the other clans and sometimes raided the neighboring country of Terre d'Ange made him irresponsible for some time, until his father was killed. The clan that killed him was led by Eirik's father, Edvard's, closest friend and ally, who had turned traitor. Suddeny Eirik was all business, and he rose above even his oldest brother, killing men with such skill and fervor that even his closest friends were shocked. No one argued when he took over the clan, for his charismatic ways had made him many friends, and he was fully supported. Besides, no one wanted to cross him. A distant descendant of Waldemar Selig, Eirik shared the man's desire for a more united Skaldia, knowing that that was the key to expanding the nation's borders. Unlike his ancestor, however, he has thus far been unsuccessful in uniting more than a small handful of clans. But where Waldemar Selig used brute force, Eirik trusts to his cunning instead, and he dreams of the day when Skaldia is a great nation, rising out of the snow to take and hold as much land as possible.
