Character Played By: Jackson Rathbone
Name: Maxime no Valerian
Title: Adept
Age: 23
Race (Lineage Origin): D'angeline
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1"
Home Province/Country: L'agnace, Terre d'Ange
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Max is somewhat tall, with a wiry frame. He has a ready smile that is quick to part his lips, pale blue eyes that sometimes seem green in the right light, and brown hair that fades to blond in the summer, with all of the time he spends in the sun.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Unlike many of his housemates, Max is not shy, but instead rather gregarious and extroverted. He is quick with a joke, though his training has taught him the time and the place for such things. Max loves the outdoors, and spends as much time as he can hiking and swimming. Also unlike some housemates, he feels no shame at being who and what he is - he enjoys the pain of the whip, the submission, the exquisite delight of pleasing his patron. Max is also loyal and honest, a true friend to those he meets, young and old alike, noble or peasant.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Max is an orphan, not knowing who his parents are or their circumstances. If he had a memory of his childhood, he would have recalled parents who loved him deeply, but who were starving. His father had been a laborer who was injured on the job. The money he was given to live on after the injury soon ran out, and his wife was left to make money for the family as best she could. When Max was four years old, the Dowayne of Camellia House saw him and admired what a beautiful child he was. His parents agonized, but with several other hungry mouths to feed, it was inevitable that they would let him go, so that the rest of them might survive and for his own sake, so that he would have a better life.
He thrived at Camellia, and if he had not so enjoyed the spiced candy when he was ten years old, he might have been sold into Orchis. Instead, his path led him to Valerian House, where he flourished. In no hurry to make his marque (truly, he was happy where he was), it has crawled only a few inches up his spine, despite that he has had no shortage of patrons.
