As many of you may or may not know, one of my greatest internet addictions is the TV Tropes Wiki. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage) 'What is this wiki?' You may ask? Here is a quote from the main page: Honestly, you would be surprised how many tropes you've consciously or unconsciously applied to your characters. Seriously, they're everywhere, there's no such thing as a character who doesn't adhere to at least one trope. Anyways, I think I'm the only one who ever uses this website, but it might be fun to try and find tropes that apply to your characters...maybe...if you like scavenger hunts... Screw it, I'll just play and hopefully someone will catch on... Here's the page they have for Kushiel's Legacy, so everyone can see how it's done: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitleqsy6l9lumn8g

Landis's Tropes (in no particular order)
Animal Stereotypes - There's a reason people call him the fox.
Anything That Moves - Male, female, intersex, members of his own house, the list goes on...
Arranged Marriage - While not an actuality, it is implied that at least his father would like to see him settled down, preferably with a Camaeline noblewoman
Author Appeal - *coughs*
Ho Yay - especially apparent with Demetrius and Idaeus
Really Gets Around - Yes, yes he does
Bawdy Song - sings a couple at the Midwinter Masque
Berserk Button - anyone who insults his family, his House, also, anyone who hurts his lovers
Brains and Bondage - Er...more like brains and domination, most Mandrakes are this, IMO
Crowning Moment of Funny - his comment about the dowayne nailing his phallus to the wall, also the song at the Midwinter fete might qualify
Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
Fiery Redhead
Green Eyes
Deadpan Snarker - occasionally
Non Action Guy - Landis is definitely a lover, not a fighter
I Call It Vera - his whip's name is 'Mistress'
Love Triangle - with Anixiel and Sinclair, might have been resolved...or not...
Well Done Son Guy
Momma's Boy
Neutral Good
Sex as Rite of Passage - literally for all adepts, but family tradition dictated that Landis take an assignation with a member of his own house before being allowed to strike out on his own
Shout Out - Many to Final Fantasy (since his avatar is Genesis from Crisis Core) as well as promising his brother that there would be cake at the Palace's masque, a direct reference to Portal
Whip it Good - his specialty
The Riba - Landis is a SEME, dammit!
Suspiciously Specific Denial - see above
What Could Have Been - Landis was originally supposed to be the serious. by-the-books, rule-happy adept, in contrast to his more easy-going brother, that idea lasted about two seconds...

Emile's Tropes
Bodyguard Crush
Knight in Sour Armor - after being declared anathema
Does Not Like Women - moreso after becoming anathema, before that, he could tolerate a little innocent innuendo
Lawful Neutral - looked like he was going this way during his house arrest, but now he's back to being Lawful Good, more or less
Sweet Tooth - he does have a fondness for cake
Red Oni Blue Oni - Emile is the Red Oni to Landis's Blue Oni
Protectorate - is supposed to act as this for Sabrina, acted as this for Coretta more recently, also occasionally for Landis
Celibate Hero/Can't Have Sex Ever - even though he's been released from his vows, he still has hangups about sexual contact
