The sun was not even really up yet, just a faint glow at very eastern edge of the horizon. However I was already wide awake, on my horse, loaded down with supplies of all sorts, and riding to the place I told Faolan I would meet her. This would be an excellent chance to get away and just enjoy myself, to get away from all my thoughts. I was bundled up and ready to go.

The day had come and I was full of xcitement. SO was Artemis as he pounded the paved walkways, tossing his head, his breath coming out in cloudy snorts. He felt my excitement, fed off of it, and knew that the weighted saddle bags at his sides meant that we were doing something adventurous, something that would make him feel more at home. The day was starting to break, faintly, and everything was awash in a warm orange glow. As I came around a corner, I saw Guy, his mount loaded, and him sitting tall atop his horse. I wore thick hosen and boots, my feet were socked with a thick wool, my gown was not long for ease of movement and of a heavy wool, tartan, from home, hunting gear that I had brought and was getting dusty in my room at the Palace. It needed a good airing, and this was the perfect time. I had a heavy cloak, black in colour, with a hood that would cover my head. I brought a scarf to wrap about my face and neck, but found I did not need it, at least not yet. I came up alongside Guy, though with enough distance that neither of our horses got spooked.
"Guy," I said with a wide grin. "Good morning!"

I turned my head, greeting Faolan with a wide smile. "Greetings! I hope you are as excited as I am." Indeed I couldn't wait to see what adventures would be had.
They sky was slowly beginning to cloud up as the sun rose, lighting us and the horses in a peachy glow.

I chuckled at his enthusiasm. "I fear perhaps even more excited, if possible!" I beamed at him. He looked positively glowing, and it was hard to believe that I had found myself a friend and kindred spirit - one who liked to hunt as much as I.
"Shall we start off then? I am dying to get out into open land, and into the forests!"

I grinned and nodded emphatically. "By all means! Simply pick a direction and let us being riding!" The eagerness in my voice bubbled over.

I could nto help but to giggle, covering my mouth slightly with my hand as I did. "Well the best direction, first," I said as I took up my reins and turned Artemis in the direction, "would be towards the City gates. We have to get out of here first," I said, grinning at him now, not making fun of him, but understanding how eh felt, wanting to get right to the adventure. I started Artemis in a slow trot, knowing that Guy would fall in step beside me.

I laughed and nodded quickly following along beside her. "How long do you think we'll be out?" I asked once I was caught up with her.

I grinned. "Well, once we start hunting, depending on what we catch, we could be out for a nigh a week, depending also on how much fodder we have. I think it more depends on how long we want to be out. I do want to be out for at least two nights," I said hopefully, "I mean, unless you want to be back before then."

The thought of being out a week was thriling to say the least. But I knew it would be impractical. I nodded in ascent to her, grinning with eagerness at the same time. "That sounds like a good enough length as any."
My horse itched with anticipation as we left city gates. I longed to gallop. With a mischievious. Smile I said to Faolan, "catch me if You can." with that I sped off!
