I simply nodded. "I shall have to pick it up again sometime soon." I felt a lull in the conversation coming. I'm sure this isn't what she had in mind and to be honest I felt guilty. I wasn't certain if I should admit that however. It was an awkward situation, something I wasn't used to.

I nodded. "I suppose I am. I typically retire early." I felt bad however. "I'm really sorry about this, this must be the worst after party that you've ever been a part of. If there's a way I can make it up to you please tell me."

I smiled. "I've been to worse, believe me," I said. "I once had the pleasure of escorting home a baron who vomited and passed out in his foyer." I shook my head and smiled at the memory. "As for making it up to me...if you know anyone who needs a reading, or some pleasant company, feel free to drop my name."

My smile was warm and caring and I leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek. "I will be certain to do that, Antigone.I did enjoy spending time with you. And perhaps you'll see me here again someday. Elua be with you," I told her as I began my way out.
