Name:Wenyan Xiu (using the proper Ch'n naming convention... Xiu Wenyan in Terre d'Ange standard).
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Race: Ch'n
Home Providence: Fujian, Ch'n
Appearance:
Xiu has the same good looks as his brother, smooth Ch'n skin, shiny black hair, and the strange duo colored eyes, one blue and one Ch'n black. He is a mix of the masculine and feminine, often attracting members of both genders, even in Ch'n.
History: Xue and Xiu were born to highly affluent and rich parents. They were the only sons that the parents were to have, and firstborn. Their father rode them hard, making sure they excelled to the best of their ability and beyond in their academics. Growing up, the twins did not get out much, they spent much of their time either in school or being taught the family legacy. Their father wanted them to follow in his foot steps, a life of politics and ownership of land and subordinates.
Xiu was the stronger of the two, being that way since their birth. He had his father's natural charm and could befriend almost anyone. When his father's business partners would attend dinners it was Xiu that would impress them. At first Xiu used his talents to their fullest, he learned all he could and worked hard to try and please his father. As he grew older though he saw how his brother would struggle and how difficult life would be for the other twin. So, he started to work less and make sure his skills were no greater than those of his twin. This angered his father to no avail, but no threats or punishments could force him to make his brother's life difficult. He was able to make his father believe that he had lost some of his edge with age, even though at the time the boy was only 12.
Xiu spent much of his life fretting over his brother. If Xue wasn't happy Xiu would spend all of his efforts in finding out why and fixing it. He would sacrifice anything for his brother. He loved him with a fierce determination and wanted no ill to come Xue.
When word of their split was spoken it was Xiu who took action. He first tired to convene his parents that there was no reason, him and his brother were find and should stay together. His dad used Xiu's lack of accelerating as a reason to make the split. Xiu, however, knew the truth. His parents were uncomfortable with how close him and Xue had become, uncomfortable with the time they spent together.
As Xiu watched his brother become more and more depressed he decided to act. He collected all of the money that he could, from his own pinching of coins to the money that his father had laying around. He prepared packs, hiding them near the stables where the brother's two horses resided. When the time had come he woke his brother up and told him they would run, which they did.
Xiu lead the journey, making sure that his brother would not become over tired. He did not take a straight trek to Terre d'Ange, having not listened as well as he should when taught maps and navigation. Eventually, though, the brothers were able to find the city of Eula.
With a new life ahead of them Xiu is ready to have the life he wants with his brother, a life where no one can tell them what is or is not right.
The brothers were able to make their journey with money earned from entertainment. Xiu was a talented dancer while Xue the musician. A living they continue in Terre d'Ange.
