Name: Manon nó Valerian
Age: 16
Race (Lineage Origin): D'Angeline
Gender: Female
Height: 5'2"
Home Provice/Country: L'Agnace/Terre d'Ange
Appearance (1-2 Paragraphs): Manon is small and slight, and she despairs of ever getting the type of curves she sees on some of the other adepts. Her hair is long and dark brown, so dark as to be almost black, as are her eyes. Her skin is pale, with a smattering of freckles across her nose that is so light it can only be seen close up.
Personality (1-2 Paragraphs): Manon is smart as a whip, though she hardly appears studious to the casual observer. No, quite the contrary, she can often be found shirking her studies or chores, playing pranks, or daydreaming. Her teachers and trainers have often despaired of making a proper adept of her, but as she nears her debut, it is becoming obvious that though she doesn't always show it, she has absorbed every lesson. Manon is sometimes solitary, but once she makes a friend, she is intensely loyal, even to a fault. She is prone to outbursts of temper, but they burn out as quickly as they begin. Though she is a Valerian, she is no shrinking violet and can sometimes be difficult.
History (At least 2 detailed Paragraphs): Manon was born and raised (at first) in Heliotrope House to two adepts who had an unsanctioned romance. The Dowayne considered not keeping the child at Heliotrope, or turning her parents out, but Manon's constant shrill crying and constant awakening was deemed punishment enough. As she grew into her toddler years, her parents despaired - she was unruly, stubborn, and less than graceful. Still, they persevered, though it was with some relief that on her tenth birthday she got into the spiced candies the Valerians had brought to test another child and ate the entire batch. She was ill, of course, but the fact that she had eaten them all was enough to have her transferred to Valerian. Her childhood was fraught with injuries, as she was careless and accident-prone, though they did not seem to stop her or give her pause for thought before she started her next adventure. Though unlike many of the other adepts of her House, Manon does not find pleasure in pain, merely that she takes immense pride in being able to bear it well. The Dowayne often pondered whether or not she truly belonged at Valerian, but Trinette was nothing if not an expert in her own House, and so she stayed. Now sixteen, her debut is fast approaching and it remains to be seen if Trinette's decision was correct.
