Name: Joie de Mornay
Age: 18
Race: D'Angeline
Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing around 5'9", most of Joies height comes from her legs. Her hair is a dark red fused with brown, auburn in most lighting, though in softer, vibrant light such as the early morning sun, her hair burns with crimson. Where her sister is small and pixie-like, Joie is more long and supple, her face given to a serious expression when not in an obvious smile. Eyes the color of hazel, they seem to change with the lighting and time of the year, though the myriad of colors is always there.
History: Growing up as the second-eldest of a family of girls, Joie had always been more apt to be quiet and watch those around her than her sisters, though she was never far from a ready smile and a joke about something.
Having a solid family base, both financially and emotionally, Joie has grown up secure in who she is and is abound in self-confidence, though little arrogance. As Thelesis de Mornay was her great-aunt, reading and writing has always been encouraged in her family, though it were her sister, Jess, who was bitten by the bug of it, not Joie. She was more interested in physically helping people, making them feel right and pleased, spreading the joy of health and relaxation, of comfort and happiness as she could. Courses in herbal medicines had been taken, and while she was more adept in aiding small things such as broken bones, migraines and toothaches, she'd given some small thought to continuing her studies to more complex matters. Massages was another are she was trained and talented in, and it was this that she gained the most gratifying sort of pleasure; happily for her her fingers were slim and deft.
Her life is mostly cut-and-dry, and an ache for more is beginning to burn within her. Her sister, Jessamine, is already within the walls of the City of Elua, and Joie has finally been granted leave to join her; more, she knows, to give her sister a calming and sensible presence, but she is never-the-less thrilled with it. She will marry one day, and before that day comes she wants to experience all she can, and live her life as she might.
