Name: Andrei Shahrizai
Age: 29
Race: D'Angeline (Kushieline)
Home Province: Kusheth
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1
Appearance:
Standing just over six feet tall, Andrei conveys an intensity found in most every Shahrizai, from his unruly dark mane to the inky depths of his sapphire-hued eyes, a cruel glint there that perfectly matches his signature sardonic smirk. A pleasantly toned build, not overly muscular, but certainly enough to fill out his meticulously tailored wardrobe with aplomb.
Personality/History:
The third and only surviving child of two closely related Shahrizai parents, Andrei grew up coddled and spoiled, resulting in a handsome terrorist. Very common, in this family. His mother, the Baroness Geia Shahrizai, gave up a lifetime of smalltime plotting within the family to raise her third son herself, afraid that the ailments that'd claimed her first two children, both girls, were not a result of first cousins inbreeding, but rather a dastardly plot and subsequent murders perpetrated by someone in the clan.
Andrei was raised with a sense of mistrust for other Shahrizai, though when his cousins did visit the estate, he had as much of a good time as any, their tricks, traps, and other penchants for mayhem and havoc the bane of every housekeeper and estate worker in the province.
At fifteen, a mishap involving a Tsingani girl caused sparks to fly between her family, breeders of an exceptional line of kushi gurya (good horses for sale), and the Shahrizai house. She claimed that Andrei had forced himself upon her, and her family demanded action, lest their daughter lose her laxta (unsullied virtue). A refusal to force Andrei to wed the girl, and indeed a denial that the event had even taken place infuriated her family, and the horse fair was nearly made into a battleground when just a few days after the accusation the girl was trampled to death in a mysterious stampede.
Andrei's father, Baron Lias Shahrizai, paid a large and yet undisclosed sum of money to the girl's parents, supposedly for their misfortune and not as an indication of any wrongdoing on Andrei's part. The family made much less noise about the affair after that, though the girl's mother spoke the dromonde, fortelling that Andrei would come to an untimely death in his lands. Many waved it off as the ramblings of a bitter woman, and others as just another Hokkano (A way of Tsingani to trick D'Angelines out of their money). Geia was not so sure though, and a sense of dread overcame her, and she sent Andrei off to be fostered with the Cassiline Brotherhood.
That didn't last long at all. Andrei was sent back home before even his eighteenth birthday, and refused to speak on what had transpired, only mentioning that he and the Brothers 'had not meshed well'. The winter of his return, his mother fell ill and passed away, her last words seeking to draw the supposed curse from her son and away with her passing. The event sparked little reaction from Andrei or indeed his father, and life continued on as usual. Andrei spent his days carousing with local girls, only ever reportedly intimate with his own cousins, not eager for a repeat of previous events.
Now twenty-nine years old, Andrei was sent to the city of Elua to see to the interests of his parent's estate, that he might make connections and perhaps find some way to increase the already amassed wealth of the place, as it and the accompanying title are to be his after the passing of his father. Andrei is in no rush for such a thing, and the idea of marriage is completely beyond him, utterly distasteful. He instead plans to have a good time in the City, avoiding trouble - or at least the blame for it - and finding some of his Shahrizai relatives to torment
