Post by Aloysius d’Brézé (I) on Apr 17, 2008 19:41:34 GMT -5
Name: Aloysius d’Brézé
Title: Future Duc Lilecea(Azzalle)
Age: 24
Race: D’Angeline
Gender: Male
Appearance: Aloysius' deep brown hair cascades in loose ringlets down to his shoulders giving fine line to his facial features. The most notable of these are his eyes which are wisterian in colour. So pale a purple as to be almost white, they startle even himself sometimes. His lips almost always appear to be ready to finish their upward curve into a smile, and are at times the envy of female peerage in that they are full but not quite sensuous. He has a fine-lined nose that is perhaps a little bold for an otherwise beautiful face. Not particularly broad of shoulder his build is instead rakish with an underlying tone of hardness. Though his general air lead toward scholarly, his body is finely muscled and almost acrobatic in appearance. long-limbed as it is. His long fingers lend deftly to almost anything he sets them to, from wielding a rapier(his specialty) or turning the pages of a book. Accompanied by finely manicured nails he does not seem much the fighter. His preference of clothing tend more towards form fitting rather than flowing. This is used in order to sometimes more than hint at what lies underneath. He moves with a deftness and grace gifted naturally to him, though oft times he appears to have his head in the clouds.
History: Only son of Duc d’Brézé, Aloysius grew up pampered and wanting for nothing. Though his sisters were doted on far more than he, he is the inheritor of the Duchy of Lilecea in the Eastern reaches of Azzalle. His childhood was largely uneventful, save for the Akkadian War which until he was studying recent history he remembered little of. Versed in many topics from history to politics and is generally knowledgeable on most forms of etiquette.
He has, on several occasions, visited the City of Elua, though has spent no extended time there instead preferring the Estates of d’Brézé. Due to his age he has been 'requested' to go to the d’Brézé apartments in the City and attend the Court. He has no current lovers, and does not actively strive to any. His father did pay for an Adept of his choice upon his seventeenth birthday. His choice was an Adept of Jasmine House, seeking something different than what he was accustomed to. He isn’t extremely well learned in the arts of Naamah, but neither is he ignorant of them.
Aloysius is highly intelligent and capable of generally reading the actions and features of others. He uses this as a matter of course and does not use it maliciously. Selfishly perhaps, but never maliciously. Social of necessity rather than desire he often seems as if he doesn't care about a conversation at hand, lending to his air of indifference and day-dreaminess. As such he prefers the books in his apartments to the company of many peers. Even so, he is able to hold his own within peerage circles when required.
He has, per his father's request, returned to the City of Elua to take up residence at court and as his father's mouthpiece. He seeks to assist the Sovereign Duc of Azzalle, and as such wishes to do more than meet, in passing, Prince Augustin de Trevalion.
