Plot line title (if any): The Longest Night --Sneaking into the Palace Fete
Name of the lead player: Krystal
Name of the lead Characters: Emile d'Ames (the "hapless" victim) and Landis d'Ames no Mandrake (the mastermind of the entire scheme)
Name of secondary player(s): Open to all attending the Palace fete
Name of secondary character(s): Open to all attending the Palace fete
Time line: The duration of the Longest Night fetes
Description of plot:
Landis and Emile are going to be sneaking into the Palace fete! Hilarity ensues!
The breakdown of Landis's (foolproof) plan is as such:
1.Kidnap Pick up Emile from the Temple of Elua
2. On the way, they both get changed into their costumes. Emile is Loki (the shape-shifting Skaldic trickster) and Landis is Thor (which means he gets to carry a hammer around all day).
3. They arrive at the fete and watch the pageant
4. Emile gets one dance, possibly with the Queen
5. Landis drags his brother away from the fete and back to the temple of Elua, where he resumes Elua's Vigil
6. (Optional) Landis changes his costume and heads to the Night Court fete. (He may not get to this step if Emile screws everything up.)
Plot Ending: There are a couple possible endings. The plot can end with Landis dropping Emile off at the Temple of Elua and heading to the Night Court fete, or (depending on how events unfold) they could both end up in a lot of trouble.
Any extra information:
Emile will be introduced as a "cousin" of Landis's--Lord Laron de Roquefort (means "Thief of Cheese" in D'Angeline). There are plenty of opportunities to ruin Landis's scheme, especially if he's...distracted...by someone he knows so he can't look out for Emile. Expect Emile to be nervous and blushy if someone (especially if they're male) decides to flirt with him.
Emile will be armed (his weapons are hidden under his costume) so assassination attempts on the Queen are guaranteed to get you skewered on a blade (which would, naturally, blow Emile's cover).
Obviously, Emile will be in disguise the entire time--there will be nothing to mark him as a Cassiline unless he decides to draw his weapons or his mask is removed.
