Name: Mirielle Bellamont
Age: 26
Race: D'Angeline
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Of a standard height around 5'7, Mirielle is lithe, slender, with a curve to her middle that makes her waist small. Long limbs are blessed with supple arms, and upon her head rests a fair shade of blond, falling down her back in gentle waves. Her eyes technically are hazel, though a predominance of a bright, light blue makes the green and specks of brown hard to see, and as such they're commonly mistaken.
Personality:
Light hearted and with a ready smile, Mirielle is quite generally a cheerful woman, though behind her eyes a calculating, intelligent mind sits. One of her passions is aiding those who are in desperate need, whether by offering them a temporary job, feeding a travelling family and hosting them until any sickness is gone, or simply being an ear to listen should one need to speak.
Miri loves children, both old and young, finding in them the very soul of Elua - loving, accepting. Though she has none herself, she was always ready to play with the children of her household staff, digging in the gardens or playing some sort mind-exercising game. The children are one of the things Miri will miss most about leaving the estate, though she's made promises to write.
History:
Born to a happy, wealthy family bordering the Azzaliese coastline, Mirielle grew through her young childhood knowing nothing but smiles and kindness, tutoring and play. The day she turned eight her parents called her to them, instructing her that she would be living with a different family for fostering, and though she would be ever-welcome to visit her parents, her home would be with the Trevalions, her foster family. While she didn't want to go initially, she understood even at that tender age that duty and responsibility had already set her path, and accepted it with as much of a smile as she could.
Thus it came to pass, and six months after she'd first been told Mirielle left her parents home and came to the sovereign household of Azzalle, demure and quiet for an eight year old. Cianne and Lumere, Mirielles birth parents, were intelligent and shrewed, giving their only child opportunities that she might otherwise never have had.
Shortly before her twelfth year, Mirielle learned that her parents had both perished - apparently a bout of food poisoning, though it mysteriously never touched another member of the Bellamont household. Fearing for Miri's life, the Trevalions sheltered her and kept a tight eye out, protecting her from whatever evil, if there were one, lurked in Azzalle.
Thus it was that Mirielle stayed in the Trevalion household until she was eighteen, growing up beside Augustin and Sabriel, though always apart from the two brothers. She loved them both for their different ways, and was in tears for weeks when Sabriel left; to this day she's not seen him again.
Duty called, as the title of Duchesse waited for her until her eighteenth, and when it came she returned home for the first time in over six years, wide-eyed, nervous, and shaky. The staff was welcoming, though, and before long she settled in comfortably, loving them all for helping her through it.
Now she is ready to branch out once again, having set the estate to stand on its own while she is gone, and with a fond farewell letter to the Trevalion family and giving them notification of where she will be, she left for the City in effort to find something more... Something she couldn't find within her estates.
