Name: Lessandrie Aloysia de Mereliot, Duchesse de Mereliot and Lady of Marsilikos
Race: D'Angeline
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance: Though not a great beauty, Lessandrie is quite attractive in her own way. She is taller than most women at 5’9 with a thin, dainty frame. Her hair, a fiery sort of red just brushing her shoulders, can be a mop of sporadic, unruly curls at times, though she can tame it to be a lovely wave if the mood strikes her. Her eyes are constantly changing from an ocean blue to a bluish green-grey to a blue so dark it seems almost black depending on what color she is wearing or even the time of day. Her flawless skin seems almost untouched by the sun, a color of porcelain reminiscent of the Shahrizai. Though she is young, she is mature and prides herself on maintaining her quiet and graceful nature.
History: Born to Anna de Mereliot, daughter of Roxanne de Mereliot, during her middle years, Lessandrie was given every necessity while being denied many things that would result in a spoiled child. Anna was adamant about raising her daughter to be the most elegant, sophisticated, and intelligent woman who would one day become the Lady of Marsilikos. This gave Anna the results she wished for, though Lessandrie was to be considered of a mental age matching her own mother by the time she was ten. Lessandrie is a kind, gentle, charming, and refined young woman, though she appears much older than she actually is. Her father, Duc Lacus Rousseau, tried to give her as much of a child’s childhood as he could. Lacus and his daughter, whom he affectionately calls Louie for her middle name, were very close; Lessandrie had even received her startling red hair from him, as his was almost identical to her own and nothing like her mother’s luxurious coal-black. But Lacus’ influence did little to change Lessandrie. She is inexperienced in many D’Angeline bedtime activities, though well-read in all. She knows every position, every pleasure point, every possible way to make a partner happy, but has never used her knowledge.
When Lessandrie reached twelve, Anna and Lacus informed her of her mother’s pregnancy. Anna and Lacus were not young by any means, so the news of another child was of great surprise. Her brother, Laurel, was born soon after with hair black as pitch and eyes a golden-green, his mother’s coloring. He would inherit the title of Duc Rousseau, but not for a long time.
The years passed with little difficulty, as life in Eisande makes a peaceful existence. Lessandrie had just reached sixteen, an age she was extremely happy to be, as it sounded much older than fifteen. But her happiness did not last, as her mother became sick with fever mere days after Lessandrie’s birthday. The chirurgeon tried everything she could, but had no explanation as to why Anna would not regain her health. Months of bed rest became the only sight Lessandrie ever saw of her mother. By the time Lessandrie reached her seventeenth birthday, Anna’s health had begun to severely decline. Soon after, Anna died, smiling with feverish eyes watching her daughter, son, and husband with as much love as she possessed. Lessandrie became the Duchesse de Mereliot and Lady of Marsilikos, making her the youngest to ever hold the title. Though nervous and feeling the youngest she’s ever felt in her life, she manages to hold all the things her mother taught her above all else. A month of mourning and adjusting was given to Lessandrie before her father has asked that she move to live in the City of Elua. When questioned, her father told her simply that she must grow into womanhood, further her experiences to better govern Marsilikos, and pledge her fealty to the newly-crowned King. Obedient to her father, Lessandrie has agreed, moving into a new and very different kind of life.
