I laughed at his words. "Well let us both hope that neither my state of existence nor my attire are altered at some point tonight," I said, raising my almost empty tankard in some sort of toast before taking a gulp.
"And cousin, you sound like someone twice your age. All that sword wielding must be wearing you down," I said with a raised brow.

I shrugged “I like to consider myself wise beyond my years. That or I simply have been ridden quite hard and put away wet.”

I snickered at the connotation of his words, then cleared my throat and sat straighter in my chair... and for all the wrold I swear I was seeing things at a tilted angle. No matter. I looked at Gadleon with smiling eyes. "Well you seem to be wise," I said a little sardonically. Or mayhap a know it all, but who was I to judge especially when now we seemed to be getting on swimmingly.
"So cousin," I said leaning precariously back on my stool, "mayhap we can talk about something we ought toboth have extensive knowledge in," I said with a grin, "Valerians. Or are you not the type to whip and tell?"

I smiled a bit sardonically “Actually I am not the type to whip and tell.” I then reached over and finished the last of my drink. “Also I sadly have to pull early duty tomorrow so I should probably cease in this portion of my cups.” I tilted my head slightly “Do you think you can stumble your way home? If not I can surely offer an escort to make sure you do not step into a puddle and merge with its liquid contents.”

I laughed at his words, raising to my feet, terribly unsteady but loving the precarious feeling of it. "Nah," I said, "I will be fine. And since you have proven yourself to be terribly competent I assume my assistance is not required either," I grinned, ear to ear, and bowed awkwardly. "Twas nice meeting you cousin. Mayhap next time our conversation will not be started with me nigh breaking my crown on the floor of a bar!"

I smirked a bit “Call it an ice breaker.” With that I bowed a bit as well “Good eve” I then quietly took my leave.

I chuckled after him as he left. I rose to my feet a few minutes later, afer mulling over the encounter. He seemed fairly decent, for a Shahrizai. With that, I stumbled to my feet and managed to find my way to Mont Nuit.
