Name:Devon Kirasic
Age:26
Race:d'Angeline/Illyrian
Gender: Male
Appearance: Distinctively Illryian though with some of the d'Angeline fineness of features, Devon is large and muscled with skin a dusky tan even in winter. He keeps his hair short or shaved completely for ease of his career, finding it saves him time and having hair ripped from his head whilst working. Tall and well-built, he is also steady and calm, moving slowly and carefully unless the situation calls for otherwise.
History: Born of a former Dahlia adept and an Illryian carpenter, Devon was raised with the upmost respect for the people around him and the work they did. His only sister, Allisande, was taken to be fostered at House Dahlia at a young age, but once she began communicating with her family again they became somewhat close.
In his younger days he practiced carpentry with his father, which gave him strength and patience, but was not what he wished to do with his life. At sixteen he left home as a guard for caravans across Terre d'Ange and some of the neighboring lands, but within a few years he'd decided what he wished to do. All of his money that didn't go to necessities went into a hidden nook in his home, saved toward his final goal- the money to open an inn and tavern.
The family supported his position, with his mother offering suggestions on how to run the place once it was opened and his father and three brothers doing what work they could in their free time. Even Allisande, once she began taking assignations, would send some money his way. The building was furnished and outfitted, though it took almost seven years to do so- but everything is in working order and presents a reputable air.
Just last week Devon finally opened the doors of the Generous Patron- with an offer, suggested by his mother, that was sure to draw adepts and patrons alike and food that would surpass all but the finest of the inns within the City. Adepts eat free and recieve two free drinks per visit; chaperones are welcome and will be provided as much assistance with some possibly wayward younglings as possible. Being the honorable person he is, Devon has insured the loyalty and decency of everyone working within his business as well as the behavior of his visiting peers. The rooms are good, bedding and matresses soft and promised to be clean and neat. He looks forward to days of living in the job he loves, even if not to living in wealth.
