I laughed, raising my brows. "Well, gee. I never knew. Hmm... I will just have to try harder... or live with the imperfection of not being entertaining at all times," I said with a smile. "Maybe a combination of the two." I laughed softly then before taking another bite. "So dearest, waht do you say. Will you let me attempt to keep you entertained after the emal with some shopping?" I was hoping that our talk had helped ease her back into the mood to continue the rest of our day together. But I wasn't too sure.

I took a drink of wine and then smiled fondly at him.
“Yes, I think some shopping sounds just the thing after lunch,” I said.

I smiled more brightly, and took a forkful of my meal. "Exceptional! Twas an anklet you wished for, was it not?" I said with a grin that, no doubt, made me look rather idiotic, but came so naturally in my happiness that I could care less.

“It was,” I said after another bite of food.
Sienna returned and filled up our wine glasses. “Thank you,” I murmured, smiling at her and then looking back at my food. She was so tempting.

I saw the glint in my dear sister's eye as Sienne came back and left quietly, and I couldn't help but smile. "A little jewelry at the ankle, grab some poor, unsuspecting man's eye, until he blushes from the brashness of staring at your ankles," I said wtih a chuckle, taking another bite.

“That’s the plan,” I said, winking and chuckling. “I’m not above a bit of tempting bait.”

"Well then should we go shopping for dresses afterwards, I may be forced to avert my eyes!" I chuckled. I looked down and noticed that I had nearly finished off the meat but had left everythingelse on my plate untouched. I started working away at that, chewing silently before looking up at Josie. "Tell me sister, if a man wishes to look appealing to a lady, what should he don? Maybe he should wear a tighter tunic? Leave the buttons open at the throat? Or is a men's allure mainly just in his looks and a good cologne?"

“It depends on the man, brother dearest,” I answered after I’d swallowed. “He should wear items that highlight his best assets.” I took a drink of wine as I studied him as if he wasn’t my brother but a man.
“You should find shirts and tunics cut to accentuate your shoulders and arms. You are so nicely muscled there, it should be shown off. And open a bit at the neck would be good too. Color is very important as well. You want colors that don’t make you look feminine or garish, but complement your natural coloring.”

I opened my eyes wide, truly a little astonished, although I was overreacting... just a tiny bit.
"Truly, I have not put that much thought into my attire... though it may show," I said witha chuckle as I ran my locks through my hair. Her gaze had moved over me when she had spoken, and I felt a slight nervousness under her critical gaze. Afterall, I would not want to embarass my sister by appearing under or over or barely dressed.
"I may have tobeg your assistance the next time I go shoppin for myself. Though something tells me relinquishing that power... might be dangerous."

“It would only be dangerous if you want to stay a wall flower and not attract the notice of all the beautiful women…and men” I added with a grin “here in the City.”
I chuckled and took up my fork again. “I’d be happy to help you Luc, you know how much I love shopping, and I love you so how better to spend my time?”

I smiled at her words warmly. Ah she was the greatest little sister a brother could have. I don't know how she put up with my insolence sometimes.
"And I you, little one, I you," I said with chuckle before taking another bite. "So tell me, have you been to any plays yet here? I hear that the thatrical entertainment is marvelous."

"Well how about this, next time we take me shopping and see what they have there?" I asked after taking another bite. I was near done the main course and rather full, though dessert was a potential option. I took a sip of my wine while I awaited her answer.

“That sounds lovely,” I answered, smiling happily at the thought. I speared another bite of fish and enjoyed the flavors.

"Elua, I am full," I told him, chuckling.

"A fair bit of food isn't it? I mean usually," I said leaning in and talking softly, "usually it is more places like these where you expect a large meal and are greeted with a sprig of lettuce and a thimble of meet for teh price to clothe ten men," I said with a soft laugh before leaning back. "I am full as well. Mayeb it's a good thing not to try on clothes today."

"Mine?" I said incredulously though I laughed at her teasing, running my hands over my hard stomach. "Yes, well, if I don't look like a glut you of all people know my eating habits say otherwise. So long as I am not in a project phase. Mayhap that is how I stay so trim," I said with a wink as Sienna came around with the bill. She glanced shyly at me and smiled, and, this time, before she could leave, and before Josie could snatch her up, though I know she would stick to her word, I wrapped my fingers around her wrist, gently, and cocked my head to the side.
"Excuse the inappropriateness of the timing Sienna, but, I was wondering if mayhap I might treat you to dinner sometime," I said with my winningest smile. The blush rose to her cheeks immediately, though I could see the hint of desire in her eyes and the way her lips curled into a soft smile.
"If it pleases you my lord, I would like that very much," she whispered. Her voice was musical and sweet, and I had to vetnure a very quick glance to Josie before my eyes blinked and I settled them again on Sienna's. She looked like she was about to say something, then she had stopped herself, and then decided to say it afterall.
"If you like... I am available for dinner in two night's time." The blush deepened.
"Very good then. I shall call on you in two night's time, if you could scrawl your address on the back of the bill for me..." I murmured. She nodded, taking the bill for a moment, then returning with her address on the back. I smiled as she walked away, glancing at us over her shoulder.
"And now that that is taken care of," I said with a chuckle as I pulled out my coin purse.

I stayed silent while Luc made his move on the girl. I was grinning on the inside though at his approach, his lack of tact. He’d not even given the girl his name.
“Indeed,” I said, smiling and then taking on more drink of my wine. “Seems I didn’t have to leave you alone after all. What made you change your mind about asking her in front of me?”

I laughed softly that she had noticed. "Well, for one, can't have you thinking I'd not do it at all, and two, we are about to change venues. I figured it would have been too hastily done at the door and it would require me to come back yet again anyways to get her particulars," I explained. "What with the bill being available, it was the perfect time. Plus, after her knowing now that you are my sister, I knew she would not be standing there thinking 'what manner of man is this to ask out another lady in front of the one he is curerntly entertaining'. Or maybe I just put too much thought into these things. I am sorry if it was in bad taste. Just seemed like the perfect timing." I smiled rather dolely.
"Plus I figured if I failed you might get a laugh out of it, at least."

“I’d never laugh at your failures brother,” I said with a smile that melted into a grin. “At least not in front of your face.”
Chuckling, I laid my napkin on the table. “Shall we go shopping then? Perhaps work off enough food to find dessert afterward?”

"That my dear sister," I said with a smile, leaving enough coin to cover the meals as well as a hefty tip for the beautiful Sienna, "is a wonderful idea." I rose to my feet, proferring my arm as grinned down at her. "Shall we find a nice little jeweler's establishment to spend my hard earned coin?" I laughed, something akni to a male version of a giggle, as I moved around the table and closer to her.

“Absolutely,” I said, rising and smoothing my skirts before taking his arm.
I grinned at him. “I hope you brought lots of that hard earned coin to spoil me with.”

"Oh I am fully prepared to break the piggy bank today," I said with a wink as she took my arm. I guided us towards and out the front door and into the open. It was still bright, thankfully, no sign of rain in the near future. "So what were you looking for... silver... gold... platinum?" I asked with a raised brow.

“Gold or silver…it mostly depends on the anklet itself,” I said with a smile. I glanced around. “Where shall we head?”

"This way," I said, pointing to the left. "There are two jewelery stores in that direction that had some rather nice wares. When I was doing teh research I had gone in, pretending to be purchasing an engagement ring," I snickered. "You'd be surprised how people's attitudes change when you are all cleaned up and looking for something expensive."

I chuckled and shook my head, trying not to let the mention of him and an engagement ring irk me. I wondered if he’s visited the stores with that girl.
“Lead the way, brother dear,” I said, smiling.
