I watched Josette as her eyes watched Sienna. I chuckeled after. "Well, unless you plan to get to her before we leave, I think I should be alright," I looked around, most the people in the restaurant were sitting with a companion. "And it looks like i may be able to beat any other suitors, so long as it isn't you," I said with a wink.

“I’ll give you until we leave, but then all restraints are off,” I replied, chuckling. My smile grew. “Too bad we’re not Shahrizai, we could just share her.”

"Yes, it is a pity, is it not," I said teasing with a laugh. "Now there would be an interesting bed partner." I leaned in, and whispered. "Mayhap I ought to find one?"

“Perhaps you should. You might benefit from someone beating some sense into you,” I agreed, grinning.

I laughed again. "My my sister, aren't we drole," I said with a playful roll of my eyes. "Who knows, I might very well like it," I said with a chuckle. Most likely not but there was nothing wrong with a bit of passion.

“You might. I know I found pleasure in dabbling in being the topper,” I told him, grinning. “It’s certainly worth trying the other side as well.”

My eyes widened at the thought of my little baby sister beating a man.. or woman... for pleasure. I chuckled, though the surprise did not leave my face. "You don't say? Well, I might just have to give them both a go. Why not, afterall. We are here to experience everything, right?"

I couldn’t help but almost giggle at the look on his face. “Exactly,” I agreed. “No need to look so surprised, dear brother. It was only light dominance, nothing intense. I met a Valerian adept at the Duchesses’ Soiree and took him home.”

I laughed then. "Light dominance? No whips and clamps and flechettes then? Maybe just a little binding and gagging?" I queried with a raised brow then laughed again. "Ah yes, of course it would make sense that that soiree would be rife with Valerians. Actually, I couldnt really tell them apart from anyone else. Minus the downcast eyes fo course. I wasn't sure what I was expecting."

“He wasn’t quite what I was expecting either,” I said, nodding a little in understanding. “It was amazing to see the difference in his reactions when we were dabbling in dominance versus not. It was fascinating.”

I sat, silently, thoughtfully for a moment. "Interesting. I would have never thought to do that... but then again, maybe it is also different meeting an adept in a social setting as opposed to just going to contract him or her. There isn't much time for pleasantries and getting to know the other person in that environment." I smiled then, after my long-winded revelation.
"So you've made acquaintances with a Valerian and an adept from Alyssum. Any more houses you might have attended? Any to recommend?" I said teasingly.

I chuckled and shook my head. “No, those are the only ones I’ve had interludes with.” I looked at him for a moment. “I’d always seen you as going to Jasmine first. ‘For pleasure’s sake’ always struck me as a motto that would draw you.”

I simled. "Actually, I had been thinking along those lines. Although I also thought Eglantine, since I am an artist of sorts," I said as I puffed my chest out. "Or maybe both," I said with a raised brow.

“You are an artist,” I told him smiling, my words and smile touched with pride for my brother. “Both is always the best course…in my opinion anyway.”

I smiled back at my little sister. She was always my biggest fan, the one who loved my creations teh most. Her support meant so much tom me. "Thank you little one," I said with a soft smile. "And you are right. After all, we have to get through all 13 houses. And you already have a head start!"

I laughed at the expression she gave me and leaned back in my seat just as Sienna came back with our meals, placing them before us. She glanced at me, through her lashes, and I flashed her a grin. She curled her lips in a girlish smile before turning to Josette, then back to me. "Would you like anything else with your meal... I mean at the moment, my lord?" She asked, a touch of pink on her cheeks. I looked into her eyes, and raised a brow.
"Mayhap just to top up the wine, perhaps? What do you say sister?" I asked as I let my eyes move back to Josie.

Only the fact that I’d given my word to Luc kept me from reaching out and softly touching Sienna’s hand with mine.
“More wine would be lovely, thank you,” I said, smiling. She nodded and hurried off. My eyes swept closed and I inhaled the lingering scent of her perfume. The familiar ache of sexual desire began to grow inside me.
Opening my eyes, I looked at Luc. “It’s a good thing I love you brother and will keep my word,” I said, smiling.

I watched her, Sienne, as she walked away, then turned my gaze on my sister, and rose my eyebrow before lowering it. She was definitely affected by Sienna.
"I think I am very lucky, indeed. Heaven forbid Sienna should have the pleasure of you first and give me something I can't live up to!" I said with a chuckle.

“So true,” I said with a wicked grin.
I focused on my food then, hoping to refocus my desires. “Oh, this looks marvelous,” I said, smiling at Luc.

"Only one way to tell if it tastes as good as it looks," I said with a mischievous grin, my words alluding to a bit more than just the food, though I had not planned it like that. I picked up my knife and fork and cut slowly into the tender meat. I looked up at Josie to see if she was doing the same.

I took a bite of the salmon, and it melted in my mouth. I made a happy sound and looked at Luc.
“Oh, it tastes even better,” I said, smiling.

I followed suit as she cut into her salmon, bringing the fork to my lips and tasting the succulent meat. Good Gods, lovely!
"Marvelous... absolutely marvelous," I said with a smile after swallowing it down. "Good Gods it is glorious. Though I cannot say that it is better," I said with a laugh. "Definitely a close call."

I smiled as she ate, taking another cut of my meal and chewing thoughtfully. "Think that I might surprise you with a good choice next time?"

I laughed softly before taking a sip of my wine. "Come come now, have more faith in your big brother. If nothing else I always promise to entertain," I said with abroad smile.

“You always promise to entertain, but it doesn’t always happen,” I said, laughing softly. “I can recall several instances of you promising something entertaining and me fitting off boredom.”
