My dearest,
.....I am so sorry to have spent so much time away from you these last few weeks, but as you well know business is business and when one is contracted to perform in their own profession it is with pride and love that we follow through.
I was wanting to spend many more nights with you, but alas the time has flown and here we are. I am however, almost finished with my endeavors and when my contract is paid in full I will be free once again to see you, my love.
Please say you will see me three days hence on the steps of my House for an afternoon's celebration. I am nearly at a loss for breath as I am dying to see your smiling face, but I shall endure with my memories of you to keep me company.
Never doubt that my every waking thought has been of you and when we shall see each other again.
I Remain Yours Ever and Truly,
Xaurora Areleous

Holding her letter in my hand I felt about to burst into tears at the thought of her sweet face, and her delicate hand poised over the parchment writing these words I hold now. "Oh my sweet Maeve," I whispered to myself, setting her letter on my desk next to me and dipping my quill in ink to penn her another letter.
Oh my Dearest!
.... I am overjoyed to hear from you as always. Be certain that I look forward to spending every moment I can with you upon my return, I am simply over come with emotion that you would wait for me.
I hope to be recieving a goodly sum from my current contract and we can both go all out shopping for the Coronation. I am sending a small gift to you in advance, I hope you like it.
For Ever and Always,
Xaurora Areleous
Sanding the ink to let it dry I then carefully poured it off before scenting the parchment with a few dabs of my perfume. Folding the letter just so and pressing my personal seal to the wax I blew on it to help it cool before turning to the small box on the desk. The jewelry box was simple and elegantly styled and I had known instantly that it belonged to my Maeve when I saw it.
Wrapping it carefully inside a velvet cloth I placed the small silver box in paper and tied it tightly so it wouldn't come undone. I just hoped that it got there in one piece as I didn't want a single one of it's embedded emeralds to get knocked off along the way.
That done I called for a servant to have it sent off, giving him instructions for another currier to purchase several dozen red roses and a single white one from a local vendor and to deliver them post haste to the same address. I wanted my Love to know I thought of her well, and often, and I smiled to myself at the very thought of her surprise.
