Name: Astredé Murain of Monetté, Acolyte to the Temple of Naamah
Gender: Female
Race: D’Angeline
Age: 16
Appearance: Astrede’ is the product of good breeding as all arranged marriages should be. Her father is of the linage of Aneal and her mother of Naamah, who she seeks to serve. As d’Angeline heritage goes, she is barely average height reaching merely 5’6”. Her features reflect the land she was born in. A complexion of honey grass and hair that mimics the rich earth of Namarre, both golden and brown. It falls in glimmering rivulets that reflect the sunlight as a slow moving creek would. Her eyes are as pure as a cloudless spring day. Even her freckles are so perfectly placed they reminded one of a spring fawns coat. Her mouth was soft and kind, never ingenuine to her thoughts. She carries herself effortlessly and with a grace that often leaves her unseen and unheard, which was suited to Astrede's personality well.
Personality: Throughout her humble childhood as an acolyte Astrede' has used her insight and observation to develop a profound understanding of those around her. She is often quiet and contemplative. Her wisdom is seldom known due to her extreme introversion. But for those who do penetrate her quiet guard her true charms become clear. To those closest to her she is kind, resourceful and even funny. With a quick wit and straightforward advice she wins the hearts of all ages and backgrounds. The priest’s and priestess’s of Naamah's Temple believe she will flourish and prosper within the service of Naamah.
History: Astrede’ was born to a minor lord of Namarre. Her father Lord Gilles of Monette’ is the nephew of the late Raphael Murain, Priest of Namaah. He acquired his title after marring the daughter of the estate, as her father had no other heir. Upon this union Lord Gilles applied his knowledge of husbandry, from his L’Angelace upbringing, to the soil of Namarre. Through his leadership, the holdings of Monette’ flourished into a bountiful vineyard; thus producing great wines with great profit. As his reputation grew his family grew. Producing five beautifully breed daughters of Aneal and Naamah. The youngest of which was Astrede’. As her father’s age increased so did his insecurity of his estates fate. As time passed Astrede’ watched her sisters get married off and sent to fostering with affluent families of the realm. Astrede’ was wise and observant, seeing these events made her crave her own life of her own choice. During a regular trip to the Temple of Naamah her purpose became clear. After confiding in her mother on her fears of coming to age, she approached her father with her decision. Astrede’ would enter the temple of Naamah and become acolyte. Her request was sent to the head of the Temple of Naamah in the city of Elua. She quickly received a reply granting her request and made ready for the voyage. This was where she was to begin her apprenticeship. Nearly five years have passed and she is now facing her final task. Before she can enter the priesthood she must fulfill a year in the service of Naamah. Traveling and providing all who are in need Naamah's love.
