It was SO gorgeous today, here in the north of England. Tons of bumblebees in the park.
And I've been seeing spiders EVERYWHERE. Today in my seminar, about halfway through the class I realized that a spider was hanging about 5 inches in front of my face. Of course I yelped, and interrupted my professor. The spider didn't move at all. How embarrassing!

Oh, I'm sorry to make you jealous. Not British, though. So I have no posh accent or anything. Just doing a year abroad. If you ever visit England... visit the north of England (they're much nicer up here). And visit in the spring... everything is so GREEN (except some of the trees). I love spring. Even if it means dealing with hordes of spiders, waiting to scare the beejeezus out of me... Hope you don't mind if I share a pic I took earlier in the park! Crocus and daffodils coming up everywhere.

oh where about in England are you?
I'm in the West Midlands.
I agree, it's lovely, we've got daffodils and blossom on the trees (with a heavenly scent!) and I'm loving it! Winter always seems to depress me somewhat.
I feel you on the spider thing though. My poor, long-suffering bf is the chief spider catcher in our house, and he has been given permission to use deadly force! *nods and shudders at the thought*
And before I forget! Happy Equinox! ;D

OMG, I hate you people (not really just super jealous). I went to the UK (England and Scotland mostly) on a bus tour about 6 years ago? I loved it, I want to move there so badly, plus the accent...love that in guys...hot... Nice pic btw, makes me even MORE jealous

I'm British through and through (just to rub it in a little more *halo*) I'll be taking some pics of the surrounding countryside and nature for people to peruse, soon.

Happy Equinox!!!! I wanna go to England. But want to know something sad and terribly embarassing? My geograph is terrible. I always thought England was Spain, then that France was france, and GB was like, England and the that Ireland and Scotland were the islands, and I thought Spain was the one to the right of France. So pretty much the only one I had right was France... and kind of Ireland. Terrible, isn't it? My Scottish and English ancestors would be turning in their graves
